Amazing start！I loved this book。 I can’t wait to read it again。 I enjoy how the Ms。St James writes women who we can relate to。 Real women want to read about real women。 I had no idea what to expect going in and that was the best part。 I couldn’t even tell who the leading man would be and that was a pleasant surprise。 I like that there was actually a relationship built on friendship and their shared love of God。 I’m very much looking forward to the next book。

I always enjoy reading books by this author， and this one is no exception。 I appreciate the low drama and strong romance。 This book actually had a tiny bit of drama， but quickly resolved。 My only disappointment was the jump from enemies to friends。 I really really would have liked to read the details and conversations。 But there was a month jump and she says they became friends。 Other than that， I loved it all。

（4。5 stars） - Fresh & upbeat new start for a promising new series Jordan's had a little bit of a rough life and she's "only" a waitress， but she's got a determined，， bright outlook that makes her stand out in a good way - and it leads her to Seattle & several unexpected turns in her life。 It's a little bit of a Cinderella story， but I particularly like the way Jordan is depicted as a desirable person， not so much because of looks or success in life， but because of her positive impact on the peop （4。5 stars） - Fresh & upbeat new start for a promising new series Jordan's had a little bit of a rough life and she's "only" a waitress， but she's got a determined，， bright outlook that makes her stand out in a good way - and it leads her to Seattle & several unexpected turns in her life。 It's a little bit of a Cinderella story， but I particularly like the way Jordan is depicted as a desirable person， not so much because of looks or success in life， but because of her positive impact on the people she meets。 She's hardly perfect， nor is she a Pollyanna， but she is one of those people who has learned how to deal with adversity constructively & be happy in her circumstances。 The kind of person who's upbeat & uplifts those around them。 There are time jumps in the narrative， which I don't generally mind - it helps avoid the instalove/instamarriage issues - but I'd prefer that the vignettes which end abruptly or unfinished be addressed in the narrative or succeeding scene in a way that gives the story a more flowing continuity。 The end of ch 13 particularly felt as if it had gotten chopped off。 The overall story is really good & sets up this new series with a lot of promising characters for future stories。 Can't wait！ *Romance level: passionate kisses， nothing graphic *Religion: overtly Christian but with a light hand 。。。more

This was very slow getting started。 I cared about the MCs getting together， but this story wasn’t as satisfying to me as many of BSJ’s books。 I liked how sweet Jordan was， but the conflict didn’t ring true。 As always， the book was populated with interesting characters who seemed like real people。

Short and SweetPerfect book if you’re looking for a quick read。 When I need something light and sweet to read， Brooke St。 James is def my go-to。 Although， I would like for the books to continue to be faith based。 It seems as though， I am reading less and less about Christian characters。

Unexpected journey somewhere in SeattleThis story took me on such an unexpected journey。 I had no idea it would turn out how it did。 I love when a book can surprise me like that。 Definitely worth the read and the short break from reality。Rating: PG， clean

Brooke is so deliberate in her writing。 I absolutely love diving into her stories and getting to know all of her characters， including Jordan and JD！ Her story lines are interesting and I am always looking forward to her next book。 5 stars！！！
