Really GoodMilhalis’s story within the wider Valens universe is setup really well with this book。I’m looking forward to seeing how him & S。J lead their generations fight against the Djevels， albeit with a little help from Sean & the wider family every now and then。

Mihalis continues to kick buttI was skeptical of the different perspective thing， but Mike’s story is so detailed and fun it’s hard to put down。 I enjoy the conning in addition to the power plays。

Another rollicking adventure with the Black LionThis book has Mihalis rapidly building his Pride and consolidating his gains in Bordertown。 I really enjoy the Valens stories and drop other books just so I can read the new ones as soon as the release。 The characters are well developed and unique。 The interaction between the characters is also really true feeling which manages to bring out an emotional reaction from the reader。
