After reading the first 5 books I was pleasantly surprised to read that all my favorite characters were present and as hilarious as always。 I love the court cases and the rulings thereof， Rita remains my favorite almost human。

Rita finds herself in a coma with a mythological creature resting on her chest causing pain。 The family does not know what to do and enlists the assistance of Loki， who is always funny。 The characters are endearing and fun to visit。 Fortunately， court was able to continue and cases heard。

Always a good read！I love these stories of Rita and her crew。 The only problem is we have to wait so long between books and they are more of a short story than a book。 You tend to forget what happened in previous books。 Not good。

Very Well Written NovelaIt’s a well written story and great continuation of the Rita Chronicles， but I would call it a novella。 Maybe based on number of words it truly is a novel， but compared to the first four - this is short。 I enjoyed the characters and story。 Wish there was more to write following Mabon Court。 I have a Kindle Unlimited subscription so did not buy it， but if I had， I’d probably feel a bit cheated。

Like plot but not editingI like the plot of each book & overall storyline but this series is always so hard to read because of bad formatting or typos。 And there are A LOT。 In EVERY book。 So far the story & characters have been entertaining enough to eventually finish the books。 I would enjoy them more if we did have to edit every page。 It does make me curious if an editor exists and how publisher allows this many mistakes。。。？

Not her best work。。。I am NOT a negative person。 I understand EXACTLY how tough it is to do ANYTHING that puts yourself in the spotlight and open to criticism。 I also understand that people can have a bad day， week， month 。。。 So I always take that into account when writing my reviews。 If something is truly awful， I prefer to say nothing than opt to sit behind my keyboard terrorising someone from the safety of my home， far， far away; something that people seem to feel is entirely acceptable these Not her best work。。。I am NOT a negative person。 I understand EXACTLY how tough it is to do ANYTHING that puts yourself in the spotlight and open to criticism。 I also understand that people can have a bad day， week， month 。。。 So I always take that into account when writing my reviews。 If something is truly awful， I prefer to say nothing than opt to sit behind my keyboard terrorising someone from the safety of my home， far， far away; something that people seem to feel is entirely acceptable these days。 So as a result， I will offer the below review with as much compassion and understanding as possible towards the author。This is DEFINITELY not going in the record books for Victoria。 I absolutely LOVED all the prior books in this series and was GENUINELY looking forward to the release date of this book。 I even set a reminder in my phone so that I could get it the day it was released。But something happened。 What， I do not know， but when I searched for this book on Amazon， the book was nowhere to be found！ Here it is almost 2 weeks later and I finally saw it was available！ Yay！Unfortunately， the book wasn't really a "book，" more like a novella maybe？ It also had MANY typographical errors。 There were also formatting errors where the font changed style and format in one chapter out of the blue。 Lastly， it just didn't feel complete。 There were holes in the basic theme and it seemed that Victoria just sort of phoned this one in。 I am truly sorry。。。 It is just MY humble opinion and I am nobody。。。 Just a fan。 I hope that whoever is her publisher， her editor and proof readers are do better next time。 I blame them just as much as the author for releasing this book。Sorry。 Not Victoria's best effort。 。。。more
