Välskriven， fin och insiktsfull bok om Tim Berglings liv。 Boken är så klart sorglig när man vet hur det gick till slut， men jag har svårt att se hur Berglings historia hade kunnat berättas på ett mer värdigt sätt - det märks att Mosesson tog sitt uppdrag väldigt seriöst och verkligen ville belysa personen Tim Bergling， inte bara musikhjälten Avicii。 Efter att ha läst boken känner jag nu en enorm respekt för Bergling och hans kamp mot sina demoner， en kamp som många läsare säkerligen kan känna ig Välskriven， fin och insiktsfull bok om Tim Berglings liv。 Boken är så klart sorglig när man vet hur det gick till slut， men jag har svårt att se hur Berglings historia hade kunnat berättas på ett mer värdigt sätt - det märks att Mosesson tog sitt uppdrag väldigt seriöst och verkligen ville belysa personen Tim Bergling， inte bara musikhjälten Avicii。 Efter att ha läst boken känner jag nu en enorm respekt för Bergling och hans kamp mot sina demoner， en kamp som många läsare säkerligen kan känna igen sig i men som i Berglings fall tyvärr ofta styrdes av en industri som inte sätter hälsan först。Jag drar av en stjärna för jag tycker att språket ibland blir lite väl underutvecklat - stundtals， särskilt i början av boken， känns det som att man sitter och läser en artikel i en dagstidning。 För mig tar det tyvärr bort lite från det som sägs。 Med det sagt så är detta verkligen en enormt pretentiös liten detalj att påpeka om en verkligt fin bok， och om det var möjligt på Goodreads så hade jag gärna gett boken 4。9 av 5 stjärnor。 。。。more

I remember waking up and hearing the news that Avicii had died。 I was devastated， I couldn’t wait to read this biography and know more about this loveable swede。Most memoirs and biographies i have read are very structured， i found this one jumped a little between anecdotes & there was some irrelevant information。This left me feeling nostalgic for the early 2010’s when I discovered EDM 😍TW: substance use， alcohol， self harm and suicide

Betyg 3，5。Intressant inblick i en supersnabb karriär i en speciell miljö och om Tims försök att hitta sig själv i alltihop。 Tragiskt givetvis， samtidigt blir jag frustrerad över hur tanklöst Tim lever， han är fixerad vid jobbet， han prioriterar sina manliga vänner， medan han helt verkar släppa föräldrarna。 Det är något man kanske gör som tonåring， han verkar vara ganska omogen。 Det ihop med den typ av karriär han gjorde， var förödande。。。 :（

I remember when I was lucky enough to see Avicii live just after the release of his True album。 Didn’t realize then what was happening behind the DJ booth and the struggles Tim had。 The book was rather easy read （read it translated to Finnish）， however I’m not certain if it fulfilled my expectations。 Generally speaking when I read biographies， I expect to know the subject better after reading。 To a certain degree it’s true， however I feel like the book kept Tim and his personality introduced ver I remember when I was lucky enough to see Avicii live just after the release of his True album。 Didn’t realize then what was happening behind the DJ booth and the struggles Tim had。 The book was rather easy read （read it translated to Finnish）， however I’m not certain if it fulfilled my expectations。 Generally speaking when I read biographies， I expect to know the subject better after reading。 To a certain degree it’s true， however I feel like the book kept Tim and his personality introduced very briefly。 The book is almost like a continuum for his Netflix documentary explaining why did he take his own life and what were the event leading to this most unfortunate ending of the talented DJ。If you’re a fan of Avicii of have any interest on Tim’s life， I would recommend reading the book but for someone who is not familiar with his music， career or life I don’t think the book unfortunately gives too much good insights/new thoughts other than the long built events that lead to tragedy。 。。。more

My teen gave me this book for Christmas， and they remember watching me watch the Avicii documentary back in 2018， just before Tim’s death was announced。I enjoyed this book， and the insight it gave into Tim’s ongoing mental health struggles。 It had me reaching for my phone to play various songs when they were mentioned。
