Summary

All paths lead to destruction in the new Torpedo Ink novel from #1 New York Times bestselling author Christine Feehan。

Savin "Savage" Pajari is convinced he's not worth a damn thing。 He's not like his brothers。 He's a sadistic monster, a killer--a man no woman could truly love。 So it completely throws him when a stranger risks her life for his, pushing him out of the way and taking the hit that would have sent him six feet under。 If he had any kind of sense, he'd leave her alone, but Savage can't get the woman with a smart mouth and no sense of self-preservation out of his head。 With one kiss, he's lost。

Seychelle Dubois has spent her entire life not feeling much of anything, until Savage comes along and sets her whole body on fire。 Kissing him was a mistake。 Letting him get close would be a catastrophe。 He's the most beautiful--and damaged--man she's ever met。 He has a way of getting under her skin, and what he's offering is too tempting to resist。

Seychelle knows so little about Savage or the dangerous world of Torpedo Ink, but his darkness draws her like a moth to a flame。 Loving him could mean losing herself completely to his needs--needs she doesn't understand but is eager to learn。 But what Savage teaches her could destroy her。

Great Story I loved this book as I love all Christine Feehan books。 Her stories are really interesting and keep you interested from beginning to end。

This review has been hidden because it contains spoilers。 To view it, click here。 I feel for Savage and his feelings/beliefs about himself and have been rooting for him, even though I had no idea how he could win。 I like the way Seychelles has such fear of their relationship not because of what Savage needs but because she is afraid of learning things about herself。 She doesn’t agree readily and goes back and forth a few times。 Her gift gives Savage a bit of peace and he desperately needs it。 On the rest of the story moving along in the background, we learn more about the Dia I feel for Savage and his feelings/beliefs about himself and have been rooting for him, even though I had no idea how he could win。 I like the way Seychelles has such fear of their relationship not because of what Savage needs but because she is afraid of learning things about herself。 She doesn’t agree readily and goes back and forth a few times。 Her gift gives Savage a bit of peace and he desperately needs it。 On the rest of the story moving along in the background, we learn more about the Diamondbacks, and get more of the club’s background。 Every book seems to tease more out about the characters and their histories, which I love。 Knowing this is the softer (in terms or Savage’s needs) book in his story, I wondered a lot about how you can end the book with a complete story while teasing the next。 It was a good end in this book。 。。。more

I was so glad to see Savage get his hea。 The problems that him and Seychelle face are fascinating。 She doesn't understand how she can love him and want the pain associated with what they do。 I was so glad to see Savage get his hea。 The problems that him and Seychelle face are fascinating。 She doesn't understand how she can love him and want the pain associated with what they do。 。。。more

beware of sexual contentCouldn't wait to get this book, been waiting for Savage to find someone。 That being said the actual story for Savage and Seychelle in the beginning is a little long winded。 Other plots in the story are getting really interesting with Torpedo Ink and other clubs and Seychelles other stacker。 Was not happy about what happened between Alena and Pierce, I was hoping something would work out between them but the story is not over yet。 There is some graphic sexual content with beware of sexual contentCouldn't wait to get this book, been waiting for Savage to find someone。 That being said the actual story for Savage and Seychelle in the beginning is a little long winded。 Other plots in the story are getting really interesting with Torpedo Ink and other clubs and Seychelles other stacker。 Was not happy about what happened between Alena and Pierce, I was hoping something would work out between them but the story is not over yet。 There is some graphic sexual content with Savage and Seychelle but to me its no different than some other romance novels 。 Can't wait for the next book in January to see how the stories end。 。。。more

This was a powerful story。 Savage was shaped as a very young child to who he is today。 What he is and how he has to be would scare the strongest of women。 Seychelle is not a strong woman in some ways。 She was the care giver for her parents and with her gift, she takes care of whoever needs it。 The one thing I really liked about the story is how carefully and slowly Savagee is bringing Seychelle into his lifestyle。 That he cheated on her early on was a learning experience for him that he couldn't This was a powerful story。 Savage was shaped as a very young child to who he is today。 What he is and how he has to be would scare the strongest of women。 Seychelle is not a strong woman in some ways。 She was the care giver for her parents and with her gift, she takes care of whoever needs it。 The one thing I really liked about the story is how carefully and slowly Savagee is bringing Seychelle into his lifestyle。 That he cheated on her early on was a learning experience for him that he couldn't do that any more if he wanted to keep her。 He didn't cheat to cheat; he was releasing his demons in the only way he could, and he knew she wasn't ready for that yet。 I see now why there are two books for them。 It's a very complex issue。 。。。more

Ended earlySavage’s story was a bit dark but enjoyable。 The main issue that made the review lose a star was the ending or lack of one。 Freehan is not as repetitive in this book which is great。 However the the antagonist are not dealt with and neither do we get to see if the couple can make it through this undefined monster emerging or the mysterious run。 Instead the book just ended。 For $8。99 I expected a better wrap up。

Not quite what I expected, in a good wayI was slightly trepidations about reading this novel。 I knew that Savage’s story would have more kink in it than the others had, but I think Ms。 Feehan has done a great job of it。 She has emphasized the love and commitment this couple has for each other, and the secondary storylines are intriguing as well。 I can’t wait to see how she wraps up next month。 As always the dialogue and writing are wonderful。 I get lost in the worlds that Ms。 Feehan builds。 The Not quite what I expected, in a good wayI was slightly trepidations about reading this novel。 I knew that Savage’s story would have more kink in it than the others had, but I think Ms。 Feehan has done a great job of it。 She has emphasized the love and commitment this couple has for each other, and the secondary storylines are intriguing as well。 I can’t wait to see how she wraps up next month。 As always the dialogue and writing are wonderful。 I get lost in the worlds that Ms。 Feehan builds。 The sex scenes were pretty tame all things considered。 There is still that looming shadow of how much further are they going and will it work out in the end? 。。。more

Always awesome to go back to Torpedo Ink and the lovley town of Sea Haven that Christine Feehan has created over the years。 This time we dive into the worlds of "Savage" and the lovley Seychelle his polar opposite in every way except of course physical。 Where Seychelle is gentle and musical and everything good, Savage is everything dark and mysterious and scary, but under the surface lies a protective kind hearted man who just wants someone to love him and we know of course that's Seychelle。 As Always awesome to go back to Torpedo Ink and the lovley town of Sea Haven that Christine Feehan has created over the years。 This time we dive into the worlds of "Savage" and the lovley Seychelle his polar opposite in every way except of course physical。 Where Seychelle is gentle and musical and everything good, Savage is everything dark and mysterious and scary, but under the surface lies a protective kind hearted man who just wants someone to love him and we know of course that's Seychelle。 As always I love her world, there's just something about Sea Haven that keeps bringing me back every time she comes out with a book。 The story itself was action packed and romantic, and steamy as all get out, the sex scenes were there, but different each time, the one thing she added for this couple was "Spanking" as their "Thing" but that was niether here nor there。 I much preferred the action that torpedo ink always gets involved in。 I didn't care for "Savage" as much as Seychelle personally but I just think character develoupment wise, I identifyed more with Seychelle。 Savage was what he sounds like, danger, sex appeal, tatted up and bald and that's about it。 Not really much personality going on with him。 。。。more

This series takes you to a really dark place。Let me start by saying these books will not be for you if you have a problem with explicit sex, they also incorporate a great deal of fetishism。 That said I really enjoy this series, the characters in the series are a motorcycle club made up of fifteen men and two women。 They are the only survivors from an abusive "school" that they were imprisoned in as small children。 There they were exposed to sexual, physical and psychological abuse every day of t This series takes you to a really dark place。Let me start by saying these books will not be for you if you have a problem with explicit sex, they also incorporate a great deal of fetishism。 That said I really enjoy this series, the characters in the series are a motorcycle club made up of fifteen men and two women。 They are the only survivors from an abusive "school" that they were imprisoned in as small children。 There they were exposed to sexual, physical and psychological abuse every day of their lives and it went on for over twenty years。 Their early years have damaged them permanently emotionally and mentally, they have all developed their own coping mechanisms for dealing with what they went through -------- this is especially true about their sex lives-----------。 None of them ever believed there could be a woman out there who would or。could ever love them。 But, one by one they are starting to have hope as their brethren have met the perfect woman for them。 But Savage, he is different, the worst sexual deviance s were carried out on him from a very young age and as he grew older the only way for him to survive was to become like his abusers。 Even his。brothers and sisters in Torpedo Ink ( their motorcycle gang) do not believe he is safe around women。 Then he meets Seychelle, she sacrifices herself to save his life, getting injured in the process and Savage finds himself unable to walk away even though he knows he should。 Savages story is such a complex one it's being told over two books。 Those who have read the series know of his issues and how he struggles with who he is, the question is can Seychelle be strong enough to give him what he needs, her total surrender。 I said I like this series and I do it reminds me a bit of the Black Dagger Brotherhood flawed men who struggle to do the right thing and who live by their own code of honour。 Yes the sex scenes do sometimes make me uncomfortable, I think unless you are predisposed to enjoy fetishes you can struggle to see the appeal but there's no denying in Ms Feehans hands the scenes are incredibly erotic。 。。。more

Very Interesting storyI knew that a book about Savage would probably include a woman who would be into the same things that he needs; except from a different point of view。 But I'm finding it very annoying with the constant running away and whining that Seychelle does。 Granted I could probably never understand this particular lifestyle; but I can accept that different people require different things。 It seems like every time they take a true step forward; she spoils it by running away or have on Very Interesting storyI knew that a book about Savage would probably include a woman who would be into the same things that he needs; except from a different point of view。 But I'm finding it very annoying with the constant running away and whining that Seychelle does。 Granted I could probably never understand this particular lifestyle; but I can accept that different people require different things。 It seems like every time they take a true step forward; she spoils it by running away or have one of those " too stupid to live" moments。 Hopefully she improves in the next book or I'm going to think that Savage needs a different heroine。 She made the decision to be with Savage; then own it。 For a sadist; Savage is such a lovable character。 。。。more

The narration was excellent。 Savage rocked my book world。 This book is deep, dark, and very erotic。 I’m looking forward to the second part of the story。 It’s nice being back in Torpedo Ink land。

Annihilation RoadAbsolutely awesome!! I love the insight into Savage's mind and how deeply he loves。 Seychelle is amazing as well。 This is one of the better stories for sure。 I will say that there could have been a little less describing scenery and things and maybe the book wouldn't have had to end where it did。 I really hope that this is a one time thing! I am looking forward to part 2 though。 Annihilation RoadAbsolutely awesome!! I have kind of dreaded Savage’s story since we have been given glimpses since the beginning and I know that his proclivities are not something I am comfortable with。 This particular book is mild in comparison to what was expected。 There are some loose ends left that hopeful aren’t resolved in Savage Road since I am not sure I want to read it as Seychelle will be going deeper into Savage’s world。 Overall this is a good story。

Amazing readUsually I just give 5 stars and move on。 But this time I had to have my say。 I usually breeze through Mrs。 Feehan in a day but this time the it took my some time as I had to digest what I was reading, think and ponder。 It had a subtle cliff hanger which was good as it to should flow into Savage Road。 Would I recommend this to someone just starting out with Mrs。 Feehan NO but it sure does flow in the Torpedo Ink world and answers so many questions on how sane everyone is, normal no sa Amazing readUsually I just give 5 stars and move on。 But this time I had to have my say。 I usually breeze through Mrs。 Feehan in a day but this time the it took my some time as I had to digest what I was reading, think and ponder。 It had a subtle cliff hanger which was good as it to should flow into Savage Road。 Would I recommend this to someone just starting out with Mrs。 Feehan NO but it sure does flow in the Torpedo Ink world and answers so many questions on how sane everyone is, normal no sane yes。 AMAZING READ, want to do a reread of the series starting with Sea Haven series as many characters have crossed overed。 。。。more

Love, love, love!I’ve been waiting on Savage’s story for forever。 Since the very first Torpedo Ink book, he’s who I’ve wanted to read。 And there is no disappointment at all! He’s everything I hoped he would be。 He loves so deeply and completely。 His club。 His family。 His woman。 He’s scary yet loving。 Violent but tender。 I’m so ready for the next book! 💜
