Summary

ANGELIC FACT NUMBER 100: Having wings doesn’t make one noble; it simply makes one fly。

Naya and Adam have nothing in common。 Besides black wings。 The same birthday。 And fathers who are as close as brothers。

But nothing else。

Sweet, diligent Naya has always abided by the rules。 Arrogant, uncivil Adam has made it his life’s mission to break each one。

She is the beloved daughter of an archangel。 He is the guilds’ resident bad boy 。 。 。 well, bad fletching。

When Naya thrusts herself in Adam’s life to request a place on his clandestine team of guardians, he turns her away。 The last thing his unsanctioned squad needs is an archangel’s attention, and the last thing he needs is a bubbly, blonde distraction with a sinful voice and soulful eyes。

Problem is, Naya suddenly, and inexplicably, becomes the only thing he wants。

Fans of steamy supernatural romance will want to scroll up and one-click to start reading the enemies-to-lovers trilogy finale today。

Ah my heart! First thought, I can’t believe this journey is over。 Second thought, one of my favorite PNR series right here! Such a good conclusionWhat a heart grabbing conclusion to the intertwined trilogy。 Naya and Adam are the perfect mix of Jarod and Leigh but uniquely themselves。 The story and action went in different unexpected directions but ended so perfectly with all the stories。 The emotional rollercoaster you experienced reading their reunion/first meeting while knowing their backstory and then watching them ultimately find each other was so well written。

Perfect conclusion to this series Somehow this story became better and better with each book。 I would become completely engrossed each time and it usually resulted in way less sleep than I planned on having。 I had the first book on my TBR for a bit and when I finally decided to dive in, I wondered why it had taken me so long。 I remember reading the last few pages and then just sitting there in disbelief with what I had just read。 I wasn’t sure how the rest of the series would be able to compare Perfect conclusion to this series Somehow this story became better and better with each book。 I would become completely engrossed each time and it usually resulted in way less sleep than I planned on having。 I had the first book on my TBR for a bit and when I finally decided to dive in, I wondered why it had taken me so long。 I remember reading the last few pages and then just sitting there in disbelief with what I had just read。 I wasn’t sure how the rest of the series would be able to compare but it was everything I could have asked for。The story, the characters and the world building combine to create a captivating, creative and delightful series。 I liked that the main characters and the side characters were all memorable in their own way。 I would love a spin-off of more of these characters。 It was easy to understand the intricate and sometimes complex world that the author created。 The history, the descriptions of scenery and the systems in place helped with immersing yourself in the story。I wasn’t sure if I was emotionally ready for this story to end but I am so happy with how the author weaved this tale。 My heart is full and I hope we might revisit this world again。 。。。more

Naya and Adam can’t be Leigh and Jarod, even though they are。 The essence of Leigh shines through Naya。 Adam is more complex because Jarod was such a complex character。 Rebel, but essentially noble, Adam couldn’t have had a different upbringing and set of life experiences than Jarod。 But at the core of him was what Leigh fell in love with and which drew Naya to him。 That inexplicable tension between Naya, the privileged and precious daughter of one of the Seven, and Adam, the beloved but rebellious son of two loving fathers, led to lost feathers。 A lot of lost feathers。 I loved how the appearance (or not) of dropped feathers was the way they built trust in one another。 Their bodies had built in lie detectors。 And attraction meters。 “Glow means go,” is one of my favorite lines in the book。Adam struggles openly with his inexplicable draw to Naya, the daughter of, according to him, the most terrifying father in Elysium and on Earth。 He fights Naya’s determination to join his team and then to take down truly unredeemable villains。 Her independence frustrates him to no end, stripping feather after feather in nearly each encounter。 And then there is his horrified and embarrassed reaction to winging Naya, a laugh-out-loud euphemism for…well, do you remember awkward middle and high school slow dances? The poignancy of child Naya’s interactions with Celeste in Celestial evoked hope that we hadn’t lost Leigh。 I looked forward to every scene in which they came together。 Naya’s wise soul and uncontained, unconditional love for her father and for Celeste gave depth and even more meaning to the story, as much as did the love story between Celeste and Asher。 The heartbreak of the first book in this trilogy destroyed me。 It was one of those stories where the characters lingered for months。 As soon as I finished Starlight, I reread Feather looking at Leigh, Jarod and their love story through a new lens and that made Starlight all the richer。 。。。more

This book was a fantastic read that hooked me from the beginning。 It moves along at a pace which is perfect for the story, not too fast nor too slow。 It has amazing characters that no matter what happens you cannot help but love。 The story grabs you and keeps you reading till the end and then you are wanting more。 This book needs to be on your TBR list, you will not be sorry that you did。

I was so excited to read Adam and Naya’s story! Angels in this world normally help reform sinners - there is no such thing as what humans think of as guardian angels。 Adam and his group think having guardian angels would be an asset to humanity, so they create a group of Fletchings to be experimental guardian angels。 Naya gets wind of the group and wants to join。 Adam is skeptical that the “perfect Archangel’s daughter” will be good for the group - she might expose the group to her dad and then they’d all get in trouble。 He doesn’t want Naya to join, but Naya is stubborn and determined, and takes on a guardian job on her own。 Naya is a bad@ss in her own way and can take care of herself, but it turns out to be biting off more than she can chew。 Much to Adam’s chagrin, he can’t stay away from the alluring, sweet and sassy Naya, so he grudgingly lets his team help Naya as she tries to dismantle a plot to use innocent girls in a bloody coup in Venezuela。 This is a thrilling tale with action, betrayal, delicious tension, and sweet steam。 The Angels of Elysium series has such rich world building。 I love how it’s not based on any religion and there’s no God, just angels who guide humanity - though the angels even admit that they’re not perfect and sometimes do a poor job of it。 I think that’s another aspect that made me love this series so much。 We tend to think of angels as perfect beings, but in these books, the angels and their whole system has flaws too。 I really adore this series, it’s definitely one that will be on rotation for rereads! 。。。more

I can't believe the Angels of Elysium series is finally finished and what a ride it has been。 There have been so many ups and downs, keeping us on the edge constantly and just when you think everything is lined up for a happily ever after, things do downhill very quickly。 But don't worry because the Olivia Wildenstein sure knows how to write the most perfect ending。 Adam and Naya's soul have been my favourite characters in this series from the beginning and I just loved getting to meet them。 Naya is the sweetest girl I have ever met fully embodying her angelic body。 She is the best and purest fletching you will ever meet and yet it is her strength and determination to fix everyones problems and save everyone is endearing。 Her innocence and naivety endears you more and captures the attention of a certain black-winged angel for who she is linked to even more profoundly than just having the same coloured wings。 Adam, reminds me so much of Celeste, and his nickname for Naya, Feather made my heart weep。 He is just so perfect for Naya even when it doesn't seem like it to begin with。 From the very first moment he meets our innocent, pure heroine he is drawn to her like a moth to a flame。 But although in the beginning he is quite sharp with Naya it only really reveals the pure soul that lives inside his body。 He senses Naya's goodness instantly and despite appearances is instantly drawn to protect it and her from everything, He truly is the perfect soul mate for her even though Asher will never admit it!It was also great to catch up with the other characters, Tobias and Celeste are hilarious when they get together especially when the make fun of the total softie which is not something Seraph Asher is known as。 And he and Celeste have their own child now Lyla and her new pet courtesy of the troublemaker Tobias even warms Mira's heart。 The scary Ophan who looks after everyone in Guild 24 is probably one of my favourite side characters。 Even though I have literally just finished this series is so brilliant I feel like I need to go back to the beginning and start all over again because I can't let it go。 Worth a lot more than the maximum 5 stars I can't recommend it enough! I was physically incapable of putting Starlight down until I'd finished once I'd begun it literally became my entire world! 。。。more

This is literally one of my favorite books from all year! I was so excited when it came out & I was not disappointed! Olivia knows how to write a story that makes you fall in love! I highly recommend reading this ASAP!
