Kudos for a story well toldHaving finished this series， I am impressed with the sensitive storyline and background given。 It hooked me and drew me along。 The secondary stories had me shedding tears at the realism。 My thanks to the author and I hope to see more of their work。

This series continues to entertain me。 I can't tell you how many times I reread the first 11 books， awaiting #12。 Each book in this series continues the overall theme of the series yet each book has its own flavor。 I'm sure I'm not the author's target audience as even I consider myself old （at least in body） but it's been several decades （told you I'm old） since I've enjoyed a book series as much。 This series continues to entertain me。 I can't tell you how many times I reread the first 11 books， awaiting #12。 Each book in this series continues the overall theme of the series yet each book has its own flavor。 I'm sure I'm not the author's target audience as even I consider myself old （at least in body） but it's been several decades （told you I'm old） since I've enjoyed a book series as much。 。。。more

This review has been hidden because it contains spoilers。 To view it， click here。 This book has had some photos added to compliment the story。I have been waiting for the next story for a while and it is an interesting read。Lee and Darby continue with their baseball coaching， modelling and charity efforts。Lee discovers that his father Jack had been estranged from Lee’s grandfather and is introduced to family members he never knew existed。Dorie， one of the last of Lee and Darby’s high school squad has been helped and Sunny， another of that squad joins Lee， Darby and Cleo at Mic This book has had some photos added to compliment the story。I have been waiting for the next story for a while and it is an interesting read。Lee and Darby continue with their baseball coaching， modelling and charity efforts。Lee discovers that his father Jack had been estranged from Lee’s grandfather and is introduced to family members he never knew existed。Dorie， one of the last of Lee and Darby’s high school squad has been helped and Sunny， another of that squad joins Lee， Darby and Cleo at Michigan。Lee and Darby start their Junior， plus Cleo her Sophomore years in college。My only criticism is that the book does not have a chapter listing in the table of contents and I am having to manually bookmark each chapter as I go along。Having said that， I still am having an enjoyable time reading the book and given Diane’s comments regarding why the book has been some time coming due to her personal situation I can forgive this。My best wishes go out to Diane and her family。The book release date makes this a great 2021 Christmas present from the author to the readers of her books。 。。。more

I love this seriesI so love the Lee Darby story arc。 This is one of my favorite series and I just can’t get enough。 I like that the stories are clean， not full of gratuitous sex。 The tightrope that Lee walks between gender presentations leads to some interesting situations。 Can’t wait to see where this goes。 I definitely recommend this book but strongly suggest that you start at the beginning of the series so you get the whole back story。 Thanks for another great story Diane！

the characters， that caught me from volume one are developing in a manner， that seem natural， well rounded and are relatable on every level。Lee is finally getting a "hang on his hang ups" regarding his masculinity。 At the same time （as a male） I can totally relate to these hang ups， especially in regards of calmly confronting male attention or the unease he experienced when Darby was actively flirting with other man and was provoking their interest。 even when with an understandable goal。 And I c the characters， that caught me from volume one are developing in a manner， that seem natural， well rounded and are relatable on every level。Lee is finally getting a "hang on his hang ups" regarding his masculinity。 At the same time （as a male） I can totally relate to these hang ups， especially in regards of calmly confronting male attention or the unease he experienced when Darby was actively flirting with other man and was provoking their interest。 even when with an understandable goal。 And I can relate to the process of confronting these hang ups and the difficulty that comes from this。I look forward to the developments in regards to his family and also the big events coming in the junior year。 。。。more
