Summary

The fan favorite alumna of the Bravo hit series Southern Charm offers a witty and candid collection of essays on dating, pregnancy, and parenthood。

Growing up in South Carolina with a family that goes back ten generations, Cameran Eubanks knew from a young age that Southern women are expected to want the white picket fence life。 But Cameran has never been your typical Southern belle, and she was always determined to flout expectations。

She set out to paint the town red, enjoy her single life, focus on her successful real estate career, maybe join the cast of a hugely popular reality show。。。and then she met her future husband, Jason。 After falling in love and getting married, Cameran faced the same dilemma so many women encounter: whether or not to have kids。 Ultimately, her own journey to motherhood was anything but simple。

Now, she takes you deeper into her life—from her first foray into reality TV on The Real World to dating in her twenties to the honest truth about her pregnancy and motherhood—to get to know the person behind the camera。 Known as the voice of reason on Southern Charm, she’ll share the same honest advice she gives to her castmates and guide y’all through dating, pregnancy, and motherhood。 Charming, hilarious, and a hell of a lot fun, One Day You’ll Thank Me is for anyone who has ever wondered if they should or can。

Can't relateThe book is 90% motherhood so title is deceiving。 I like her on the show but this book was a waste of money。 Can't relateThe book is 90% motherhood so title is deceiving。 I like her on the show but this book was a waste of money。 。。。more

Although very geared at moms I loved this book。 A lot of the things she shared really spoke to things I have felt and I am sure will deal with in the future。 This would make a great gift for someone who is pregnant with their first/a new mom!

I adore Cam, but this book just wasn’t for me。 Although I have children, I just wasn’t interested in the chapters about being pregnant and raising kids。 I was hoping there would be a bit more about her time on Southern Charm, but I suppose I should’ve figured that wouldn’t be the case since the subtitle of the book highlights parenthood。 I appreciated her honesty about the type of mother and wife she is, though, because it was so relatable。

This was exactly what I expected。 Short essays mostly on motherhood。 I felt like Cam came across genuine but there was noting terribly new here。 I liked hearing more about her person life and upbringing as a fan of Southern Charm。 Overall it was fine, a bit repetitive but I liked that she kept it real and showed that not aspects of motherhood or life a charming :)

TMIThis book was ok。 It had every detail of her pregnancy and post pregnancy。 A pregnancy tell all for a person who wasn't sure she wanted kids。 I was hoping there would have been more info about her friendships with different cast members because she has such a range in age of friends that are such an interesting part her world。 But this book just went pregnancy delivery breastfeeding stay at home mom the end。 TMIThis book was ok。 It had every detail of her pregnancy and post pregnancy。 A pregnancy tell all for a person who wasn't sure she wanted kids。 I was hoping there would have been more info about her friendships with different cast members because she has such a range in age of friends that are such an interesting part her world。 But this book just went pregnancy delivery breastfeeding stay at home mom the end。 。。。more

Loved it because I love her!!!

I’ve been a fan since Real World and actually got to see her speak on one of those college shows with Brad she mentions in that chapter! This would be a great gift for a new bride who is ready to start her family or a young mom。 Lots of little nuggets of info in here! While I wish there was more reality TV info, I think that was the point。 She’s much more than a reality TV “star” and it is so fun to hear what her life is like now。

Quick, funny, light hearted read。 Her ability to be brutally honest with difficulties in pregnancy, breastfeeding, and adjusting to motherhood with your first child is refreshing。 If it didn’t come easy for you it’s a fun refreshing read。

I absolutely love Cameran Eubanks and was so excited to listen to her new book! I listened to the whole thing in less than 24 hours because I was loving her voice telling her stories。 Although I loved hearing her stories, some were harder for me to relate to because I am no where near ready to have a baby。 While I do think this is the perfect book for an expecting or new mother, it probably isn’t for everyone。 I still enjoyed a glimpse into Cam’s life that maybe wasn’t on all the southern charm I absolutely love Cameran Eubanks and was so excited to listen to her new book! I didn’t think I could love Cam more! Then I read her book。 I needed this 16 months ago when I gave birth。 She is a true gem, raw, honest, and funny! I never read books twice but I’m keeping this one around。 God bless you, mama! ❤️

I loved the chapters on Real World & Southern Charm and wish there was more of those stories。 If you are a fan of Cam’s you’ve heard a lot of what’s in this book before。 Most of the book deals with the new mom stage of life。 I love that she shares her experiences, but I’m not in that stage any longer。 I do think it’s a great book for a new mom tho。 Love Cam & miss her on the show。

RerunIf you watched Southern Charm, or follow Cam on social media, this will all feel like deja vu。 It might be a decent gift for someone who has never heard of her and is terrified to become a mom。 Cam's honestly is refreshing and helpful。 RerunIf you watched Southern Charm, or follow Cam on social media, this will all feel like deja vu。 It might be a decent gift for someone who has never heard of her and is terrified to become a mom。 Cam's honestly is refreshing and helpful。 。。。more

Thanks to the publisher, via Edelweiss, for an advance e-galley for honest review。Cameran was one of the best parts of Southern Charm for the seasons I watched, and her memoir is as sweet and honest as she comes off on the show。 She's open about her struggles with motherhood。 If you have watched her on reality tv or seen her social media, much of what she shares will be familiar, and the book itself is a bit repetitive at times。 Readers looking for salacious gossip should look elsewhere- Cameran Thanks to the publisher, via Edelweiss, for an advance e-galley for honest review。Cameran was one of the best parts of Southern Charm for the seasons I watched, and her memoir is as sweet and honest as she comes off on the show。 She's open about her struggles with motherhood。 If you have watched her on reality tv or seen her social media, much of what she shares will be familiar, and the book itself is a bit repetitive at times。 Readers looking for salacious gossip should look elsewhere- Cameran keeps it classy and truly follows the adage of "if you can't say anything nice, don't say anything at all", which should not be surprising to anyone who has seen the way she comports herself on tv。 。。。more

About a month ago I started watching a show about good looking people in Charleston。 SOUTHERN CHARM quickly became an addiction。 And while Craig was adorable I felt most connected to Cameran。 I immediately recognized her as the pretty girl from the real world San Diego who I had loved。 This cameran was more worldly, more poised and ready to have fun。 Needless to say, I was excited when I found out she was releasing a book。 While I’m not a mother, I enjoyed all the essays and would love to read m About a month ago I started watching a show about good looking people in Charleston。 SOUTHERN CHARM quickly became an addiction。 And while Craig was adorable I felt most connected to Cameran。 I immediately recognized her as the pretty girl from the real world San Diego who I had loved。 This cameran was more worldly, more poised and ready to have fun。 Needless to say, I was excited when I found out she was releasing a book。 While I’m not a mother, I enjoyed all the essays and would love to read more。 Cameran, thanks for opening up your life once again。 。。。more
