I'm always curious of ways to introduce flashbacks in interesting ways and I think heading straight into one is a risky move。 That's not to say this isn't a good volume。 I think for the first time， Gege focused more on the narrative elements of the plot over the character development。 It's definitely a choice， but I think it really makes you wonder and ask more questions than it answers。I guess it's just weird finding out Gojo is a fan of Digimon while also discovering more backstory and lore of I'm always curious of ways to introduce flashbacks in interesting ways and I think heading straight into one is a risky move。 That's not to say this isn't a good volume。 I think for the first time， Gege focused more on the narrative elements of the plot over the character development。 It's definitely a choice， but I think it really makes you wonder and ask more questions than it answers。I guess it's just weird finding out Gojo is a fan of Digimon while also discovering more backstory and lore of the world。 There's a lot thrown at you in technical terms of why someone's important and it does feel like filler in the best way possible。Still probably one of the weaker volumes， but that's just me。 。。。more

My one complaint is that I think the overall story composition lacks a little。 It feels like there are a lot of abrupt jump cuts that leave a lot out sometimes。 Especially with regards to flashbacks。

It starts off pretty well with Yuji and Nobara defeating those enemies and teaming back with Megumi and then returning to school， also Mei and Aoi put in request for 5 sorcerers to be promoted to Level 1 also then we shift to a story in the past where Gojou and Getou have to protect the Star Plasma vessel aka Riko Amanai from assassins of the curse organization Q and the religious group of Master Tengen。 The latter wants to merge with the vessel to preserve his life but to protect and fulfill he It starts off pretty well with Yuji and Nobara defeating those enemies and teaming back with Megumi and then returning to school， also Mei and Aoi put in request for 5 sorcerers to be promoted to Level 1 also then we shift to a story in the past where Gojou and Getou have to protect the Star Plasma vessel aka Riko Amanai from assassins of the curse organization Q and the religious group of Master Tengen。 The latter wants to merge with the vessel to preserve his life but to protect and fulfill her last whims is these two jobs and its epic the way its written！ It makes you feel for her character！ And the art is just gorgeous！ 。。。more
