Healing the Earl by Rose Pearson is book 4 in the Soldiers and Sweethearts series and the series is just getting better and better。 It starts almost from the place we last left it - the capture of Lord Jeffries。 This book tells Earl of Brinsworth's story whom we have already met previously in the earlier books。He happens to house a guest whom his mother intends to bring out into the society for her to find a prospective superior suitor and starts getting enamored with her himself。 Meanwhile， the Healing the Earl by Rose Pearson is book 4 in the Soldiers and Sweethearts series and the series is just getting better and better。 It starts almost from the place we last left it - the capture of Lord Jeffries。 This book tells Earl of Brinsworth's story whom we have already met previously in the earlier books。He happens to house a guest whom his mother intends to bring out into the society for her to find a prospective superior suitor and starts getting enamored with her himself。 Meanwhile， there are certain intriguing， dangerous things happening around them and he struggles to find out the person behind it and also the other people who are traitors of their country。 All these things culminate together in a very interesting ending。I enjoyed this book immensely and was totally immersed into it the whole time I was reading it。 The intrigue of the story was rather surprising。 And the love story very sweet。 I find myself waiting to read the Duke of Abernyte's story。 I am guessing that story will conclude this series。 5 stars from me for this book and its totally worth it。I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review。 。。。more

I enjoyed this story but felt it was missing more of the chase as demonstrated in the other books in the series。 This story is almost all about the Earl snd the companion。
