This is what epic fantasy is all about

The Wheel of time started well, but I felt the idea was drawn out too far over too many episodes。Some of the books just seem to be treading water, with not much happening。 Also some of the characters begin to feel a bit similar later on。However, the first one shows a lot of promise and is worth a read。

Literally remember nothing from the series other than I read them up to 11 or something。 I don't even remember which Mötley group of wandering heroes it is anymore, however they're marginally better than most too gritty or generic Tolkien rips that are out there。 I did enjoy them。 Literally remember nothing from the series other than I read them up to 11 or something。 I don't even remember which Mötley group of wandering heroes it is anymore, however they're marginally better than most too gritty or generic Tolkien rips that are out there。 I did enjoy them。 。。。more

Wow。 Just wow。 Greatest series of books ever。 I never thought there could be a better epic fantasy than The Hobbit and Robert Jordan has done it。 Will read again and again。

Yep。。。first 3-5 books are great。。。then they wander and wander and add characters and get bogged down。 by book seven it is unbearable。

continuing the story of Rand and the heroes in his small town, this is a combination of winters heart, the path of daggers, and the crown of swords ans rand and his friends begin to unite the world agaings the rising evil。。。
