Summary

Easy-going, artistic Connor Bryant fell hard for his friend Shay Seaver when they were both in the seventh grade。 Now, sixteen years later, he's returned to Misty River。 She's finally between boyfriends。 And his crush on her hasn't wavered。 Now's his chance。

He tells Shay that he's found someone he wants to date and is in need of a makeover when it comes to his appearance and dating strategies。 He asks if she'll serve as his consultant -- in hopes that he'll learn how he can become her ideal man。 What he doesn't tell her? That she's the one he wants to date。

Sporty stationery shop owner Shay immediately agrees to Connor's request because he's one of the best guys she knows。 However, she quickly realizes she's in over her head。 She's pledged to help him win the affection of another woman -- even though she dearly wants to claim his heart。

It's Christmas in the mountain town of Misty River! This sweet contemporary romance novella, penned by Christy-winning author Becky Wade, can be read alone or paired with the other books in the series。

This story is absolutely delightful! I was entranced from the first few sentences。 I just did not want to put the book down。 The characters are well developed and a joy to get to know。 I was glued to the pages as I watched their story unfold。 And, as always in a Becky Wade book, I learned more about myself and God through the story。

This was such a charming Christmas story! I had so much fun returning to Misty River during the holidays! Having been introduced to Connor in the previous books in the series (Stay With Me, Let It Be Me), I was super thrilled that he got center stage in this delightful novella。 His sweet, easy-going disposition complemented Shay's vibrant personality。 And the romance unfolded perfectly。 I raise my cup of cocoa in a hearty "cheers" to this delightful story! *I received a copy from the author。 All This was such a charming Christmas story! Can I just say that I love Misty River? I love the light-hearted nature of this story and the fun banter back and forth between Connor and Shay。 They are such kindred spirits, both creative and kind。 And it was fun to watch them rediscover each other after they’d matured comfortably into adult status。 It was enjoyable to cheer Shay on as she uncovered one attractive layer after another in the quiet, humble, talented boy she thought she knew。 Sigh。 This story is a warm-your-heart, make-you-smile, satisfying romance despite its novella length! You will not feel slighted by the word count, I assure you。 And it is perfect to read in between all your holiday events (or recovering from them!)。 If you have enjoyed the Misty River series, then grab this book to keep you company this holiday season。I was given a copy of this novella by the author with no expectations of a positive review。 All opinions are my own。 。。。more

The perfect Christmas read to inspire a little Christmas hope this season!I was given an advanced reader copy of this book by the author。 All opinions are my own and are given honestly。 。。。more

Want a book that gives you ALLLLL the feels。 Here you go! Oh my gosh, this novella hit all of the marks! I think it takes an incredibly talented author to make a novella feel like a full length novel。 The story wasn't rushed and it felt perfectly right!First we meet Connor and in that initial meeting you get to understand the depth of his heart for Shay。 Then there's Shay, who has been rather oblivious to Connor aside from a somewhat friend in art class。 Connor's idea to of how to let Shay know Want a book that gives you ALLLLL the feels。 Here you go! Give me more of the Misty River citizens!*I received this book for review。 This is my personal opinion。 。。。more

This novella is set amidst the Misty River Romance series, and I’d highly recommend reading the first two books (Stay with Me, and Let It Be Me, they’re AMAZING!), so that you can better enjoy the encounters with the characters from those novels。 It was such a delight to travel back to Misty River and have a different point of view of the town through these new characters’ eyes。 Becky Wade has such a gift with her novellas always feeling like a full book, and You and Me falls into that category。 This novella is set amidst the Misty River Romance series, and I’d highly recommend reading the first two books (Stay with Me, and Let It Be Me, they’re AMAZING!), so that you can better enjoy the encounters with the characters from those novels。 It was such a delight to travel back to Misty River and have a different point of view of the town through these new characters’ eyes。 Becky Wade has such a gift with her novellas always feeling like a full book, and You and Me falls into that category。 The development of Shay and Conner’s relationship was so sweet to watch unfold。 And of course, the faith elements within the pages were fabulous too。 。。。more

I loved visiting with characters from the author’s other books in this series, and having more insight into their lives。 You and Me added to the series and also gave you a sneak peek into the character of Luke who is in an upcoming story。 It was just the story I needed to hold me over until spring when the next book in the series releases。 If you have not read any of Becky Wade's other books you will enjoy her wonderful writing style in this story。 It is a great introduction to the Misty Rivers series。 I highly recommend this fun Christmas novella, You and Me by Becky Wade。 Your Christmas season needs this book! He was so sweet and kind。 He was shy but he still looked out for others and he was steadfast in his decisions。 I loved his artistic and easy-going nature。 He is definitely a person I would love to have as a friend。 I adored reading about Conner as he worked up the courage to tell Shay about his feelings。 He was such a sweetheart and it was lovely to read about him helping out his mom。 He was faithful but he was also lonely。 He was carrying the burden of his mom’s health on his shoulders and he needed to learn to reach out to those around him, he needed to let others in。 It was definitely cute to read about him interacting with Shay and seeing Shay through his eyes, he was so in love。 tShay was also a lot of fun!
