Believing the master deceiver is a shortcut to despair。 But leaning on truth， basing perception on grace and looking deep are all a means of encountering true joy。 Ava suffered tragedy and then allowed the father of lies to stop her from truly living。 Joseph’s continual demonstrations of love could only be fueled by the love of the Savior。 The story was thought provoking and demands a response。 Loved it。

InspirationalTrust is an issue for many as is finding our true worth and the first is only available after the second。 Many value looks， fame and fortune as a reflection of our true worth。 Even as Christians we can get caught up in this value system， but it is contrary to God’s values。 Found it inspirational to see how God works in Ava and Joseph’s lives and felt Joseph’s pain while he waited on God’s timing。 Would definitely recommend。Received ARC and this is my honest opinion。

Pieces of Forever is a well written， sweet， heartwarming， second chance romance。 Joseph and Ava have great chemistry but Ava has built high walls around her heart since being severely injured in a fire。 I loved watching Joseph， and some amazing dogs， helping Ava to discover she was more than her appearance。 Ms。 Bodden writes beautiful stories with great endings。 I love this book！

I got to read the original novella of this book， Heart’s Healing， that was a bonus offered to those who purchased the limited edition boxed set Love’s Treasure。 I liked that novella so much that I went and read all the other books Bodden had written so far。 Now she has added quite a bit to the story and is publishing it as a full length novel titled Pieces of Forever。 I like the characters and the way they grow and develop throughout the book。 Bodden often includes a main character that has some I got to read the original novella of this book， Heart’s Healing， that was a bonus offered to those who purchased the limited edition boxed set Love’s Treasure。 I liked that novella so much that I went and read all the other books Bodden had written so far。 Now she has added quite a bit to the story and is publishing it as a full length novel titled Pieces of Forever。 I like the characters and the way they grow and develop throughout the book。 Bodden often includes a main character that has some issue that the world looks on as a disability， but then she gives good Biblical insights into the real issues involved。 I like the way Ava comes to realize who she is in God’s eyes。 There’s also good insights into promises made， what true love looks like， and family interaction。 I love the dogs in the story too。I received a complimentary copy from the publisher and was not required to write a positive review。 All opinions expressed are my own。 。。。more

I enjoyed reading this sweet second-chance romance by Valerie Bodden， who is a talented author， and one of my favorites。 It was so sad at the beginning of the book， when Ava still carried so much heartache and self-consciousness because of her scars and her self-imposed alienation from Joseph and so many others。 Her Aunt Lori didn’t seem to help matters much， but she redeemed herself over the course of the book。 The dogs were catalysts in getting Ava and Joseph back together， and I was very plea I enjoyed reading this sweet second-chance romance by Valerie Bodden， who is a talented author， and one of my favorites。 It was so sad at the beginning of the book， when Ava still carried so much heartache and self-consciousness because of her scars and her self-imposed alienation from Joseph and so many others。 Her Aunt Lori didn’t seem to help matters much， but she redeemed herself over the course of the book。 The dogs were catalysts in getting Ava and Joseph back together， and I was very pleased with the happy ending， which always makes a read worthwhile for me。 Many thanks to Ms。 Bodden for a copy of this book， and I have given my honest and voluntary opinion。 。。。more

I had an Advance Readers Copy of this book， but this is my voluntary and honest opinion。 Valerie Bodden explores facial disfiguration from a fire in this book。 Ava had promised forever to Joseph， but that was before the fire。 Eight years have passed and Joseph is now back in town and still loves her。 Can she overcome her insecurities and feelings of inadequacy enough to love him back？ I would highly recommend reading this book。
