Summary

Hunt the shadow。 Guard the flame。

Noor is the new Aten of Helios, having wrenched the kingdom of the sun from her treacherous father’s hands。 Citali stood with her sister against him, and rejoiced when he died at Noor’s hand… But he did not go quietly。

He poisoned the thoughts of their older sister, Zarina, who believes that Noor is not who she claims and was never supposed to be Aten。 As Zarina flees the temple to determine her next step, she encounters, then attacks, Citali。

Beaten and left for dead, Citali’s cries are heard by the Wolven of Lumina。 In a flurry of fur and fang, Beron rushes to her aid yet fears he arrived too late。 With what would have been her dying breath, Citali whispers a secret that changes everything。

Pleading to Lumos – the god of the moon – for a way to save her, Beron is provided an answer that comes at a steep price。 Citali will become Wolven。 The two bonded together for a lifetime。 Despite their tumultuous past, Beron helps hone her new strength and senses, a primal passion now surging through her veins。 But can the two stop fighting one another and work together to hunt and destroy the darkness spreading over the sands like a plague of locusts? Or will the sands of time run out for them both?

The stakes are definitely raised in this sequel to House of Eclipses and the action kicks in immediately。 Citali was definitely an unlikable character in HoE, so Casey Bond had her work cut out for her in this book to redeem her。 But she does an admirable job, showing Citali as a mother willing to do anything to protect her son。 Beron is a great hero and balance to Citali。 I also love that we get lots of Noor and Caelum still in this installment。 While there are a lot of high-stakes action and c The stakes are definitely raised in this sequel to House of Eclipses and the action kicks in immediately。 Citali was definitely an unlikable character in HoE, so Casey Bond had her work cut out for her in this book to redeem her。 But she does an admirable job, showing Citali as a mother willing to do anything to protect her son。 Beron is a great hero and balance to Citali。 I also love that we get lots of Noor and Caelum still in this installment。 While there are a lot of high-stakes action and consequences, sometimes the resolution can seem a little easy。 And Citali is fully redeemed (but Noor and Caelum are still my favorite)。 This wraps up the duology beautifully and I’d recommend both books。 。。。more

One thing I can say about this duology is it needs to be read。 Binge it。 NOW。 There are seriously no words that will do this story justice and explain the depth and uniqueness that Bond has created。 This one is Citali’s story and it is just jaw dropping and amazing。 My heart raced as things played out, especially after the ending of House of Eclipses。 The fluidity of words, the build of the story and how the characters develop is something that is awe inspiring and brilliant。 Bond has a beautifu One thing I can say about this duology is it needs to be read。 Binge it。 NOW。 There are seriously no words that will do this story justice and explain the depth and uniqueness that Bond has created。 This one is Citali’s story and it is just jaw dropping and amazing。 My heart raced as things played out, especially after the ending of House of Eclipses。 The fluidity of words, the build of the story and how the characters develop is something that is awe inspiring and brilliant。 Bond has a beautiful way of bleeding words onto the page and making you feel like you are in that world。 The attention to detail and depth is something I live for when it comes to a book by Bond and with House of Wolves, it is something that needs to be devoured。 Yes this review is very vague but it has to be。 This story is meant to be read and experienced blind。 。。。more

5 stars from me! I read a lot of Fantasy books。 It's hard to find books that are different。 Casey Bond always delivers the most creative and thrilling stories。 I was on the edge of my seat and could not read it fast enough。 I had to know how it ended。 We finally get a glimpse of why Citali acted the way she did and you find yourself rooting so hard for her to get what she wants!! The banter in this book is so funny and just the chemistry between all of the characters is fun to read!! I look forw 5 stars from me! I want to thank Casey and his team behind this wonderful book for awarding me the Arc。Really, thank you so much ♥️Citlali is the main character and Casey couldn't leave us without her after the end of House Of Eclipses。 I never thought I could like her character the way she did as in HOE her character wasn't completely to my liking and in this one I was on her side (Team Citlali) , I loved her relationship with Beron, I'm so obsessed with them 😍 and I can't deny that their chemistry in the first I want to thank Casey and his team behind this wonderful book for awarding me the Arc。Really, thank you so much ♥️Citlali is the main character and Casey couldn't leave us without her after the end of House Of Eclipses。 I never thought I could like her character the way she did as in HOE her character wasn't completely to my liking and in this one I was on her side (Team Citlali) , I loved her relationship with Beron, I'm so obsessed with them 😍 and I can't deny that their chemistry in the first book made me ship them。 Okay, the first book was good, but this one? It's supreme。We still get to know about certain characters, but this story is completely Citlali's and hers alone。 Again, I thank Casey and her team again for the honor they did me by giving me the Arc。 。。。more

I really don't know how Casey L。 Bond does it。 She is so amazing at world and character building。 The House of Wolves was a phenomenal read that will keep you hooked from beginning to end。 I really wanted to hate Citali's character but Casey makes you fall in love with her and see who she really is。 I love the banter between her and Beron, the tension between the can be felt through the pages and sometimes you just want to hit Citali upside the head for some of the decisions she makes but you so I really don't know how Casey L。 Bond does it。 She is so amazing at world and character building。 The House of Wolves was a phenomenal read that will keep you hooked from beginning to end。 I really wanted to hate Citali's character but Casey makes you fall in love with her and see who she really is。 I love the banter between her and Beron, the tension between the can be felt through the pages and sometimes you just want to hit Citali upside the head for some of the decisions she makes but you soon find out it's all for a bigger reason。 In this sequel we still have the characters that we met and loved from House of Eclipses but also meet new ones。 The story Casey L Bond creates within this sequel is a tale of such creative imagination, it's definitely one I highly recommend and one you will want to read over and over again。 。。。more
