Christian cozy mystery。 Some of the phrases are repetitive， but an enjoyable quick read。 While this was number 8 in the series， I read it as a stand alone novel， having not read any of the previous in the series。 It reads fine without having read the previous books。 The story has a feel of Jan Karon book more than a hard core mystery。
