Summary

They messed with her。 But they picked the wrong woman。。。

Simone used to be the woman that other women would use if they suspected that their partner was cheating。 She would investigate, find out the truth, and if the men were guilty, exact revenge。 But after things went wrong with one couple, Simone was forced to go into hiding to evade the law。

Having assumed a new identity, Simone is now Mary, a mild-mannered woman who doesn't raise her voice or get angry, meaning nobody would suspect her of being capable of the things she used to do for a living。 But when she finds out that her new boyfriend is having an affair, it awakens in her the person she used to be。

That means Simone is back。 It also means that her boyfriend and his mistress are in for the shock of their lives。。。

Another gripping psychological thriller from the bestselling author of Til Death Do Us Part and The Passenger

Gave me a smileAn advocate for the betrayed。 That sounds like a unique and unusual occupation。 But something that "might" be a small deterrent for some unfaithful partner。 I was truly rooting for Simone。 The ending gave me a smug little smile。 Gave me a smileAn advocate for the betrayed。 That sounds like a unique and unusual occupation。 But something that "might" be a small deterrent for some unfaithful partner。 I was truly rooting for Simone。 The ending gave me a smug little smile。 。。。more

What a gripping read this was about Simone whose penchant for assisting women who've been cheated on, get revenge。 Unfortunately when things go south with one of her clients, she decides to take matters into her own hands but things don't work out as she'd hoped and she immediately has to reinvent herself as Mary, a quiet Admin worker keeping her head down and being as far removed from the feisty, independent confident Simone as possible。I was disappointed in the tactics Simone resorted to in ex What a gripping read this was about Simone whose penchant for assisting women who've been cheated on, get revenge。 Unfortunately when things go south with one of her clients, she decides to take matters into her own hands but things don't work out as she'd hoped and she immediately has to reinvent herself as Mary, a quiet Admin worker keeping her head down and being as far removed from the feisty, independent confident Simone as possible。I was disappointed in the tactics Simone resorted to in exacting revenge as I've known real women considerably more creative than this character which cost it a star。 While the ending left me with a glimmer of hope, I'm hoping the author will consider a sequel of Simone's next escapades。 。。。more

When I read the synopsis of this book it sounded really interesting and the book was promoted as a psychological thriller。 Simone is a woman who helps other women get revenge when their men cheat on them。 Since this is supposed to be a thriller, I was looking for some devious crazy revenge, but that did not happen。 The revenge she came up with was very amateurish, not very thrilling。 There was a murder that sent Simone on the run。 Simone created a new identity, got a job and a boyfriend, while o When I read the synopsis of this book it sounded really interesting and the book was promoted as a psychological thriller。 Simone is a woman who helps other women get revenge when their men cheat on them。 Since this is supposed to be a thriller, I was looking for some devious crazy revenge, but that did not happen。 The revenge she came up with was very amateurish, not very thrilling。 There was a murder that sent Simone on the run。 Simone created a new identity, got a job and a boyfriend, while on the lam from the police。 I don't want to give too much away, but I kept reading because I just wanted to know how this story was going to end。 The ending was unrealistic and nothing normal people would do。 This book was definitely not a psychological thriller。 。。。more

Another great book from Daniel Hurst。 The story follows Simone, who has the best job ever。 She is hired by women, who think a that their boyfriend/ husband is a cheater, to follow him and get proof。 But, then she goes one step further and offers her services to seek revenge on their behalf。 She has a whole book of ideas and also asks the women if they want to add any ideas of their own, until one of the boyfriends endsup dead。 Read the book to see where being a fugitive takes her。 Many crazy twi Another great book from Daniel Hurst。 The story follows Simone, who has the best job ever。 She is hired by women, who think a that their boyfriend/ husband is a cheater, to follow him and get proof。 But, then she goes one step further and offers her services to seek revenge on their behalf。 She has a whole book of ideas and also asks the women if they want to add any ideas of their own, until one of the boyfriends endsup dead。 Read the book to see where being a fugitive takes her。 Many crazy twists and surprises that I never figured out & a highly recommended read。 。。。more

Another brilliant book by Daniel Hurst。 Simone has led a life of helping women with cheating husbands, but her job could be considered immoral。 Then she takes things a step further which leads to her being on the run from the police, and so she must take on a new identity and a new life as the mild and polite Mary。 But can she stick with her new identity or will she be tempted to return to her old ways? A brilliant thriller that keeps you turning the pages until the shocking conclusion。 The twis Another brilliant book by Daniel Hurst。 Simone has led a life of helping women with cheating husbands, but her job could be considered immoral。 Then she takes things a step further which leads to her being on the run from the police, and so she must take on a new identity and a new life as the mild and polite Mary。 But can she stick with her new identity or will she be tempted to return to her old ways?
