Great Mystery Danger at Sandpiper Bay is the second book in the Riley Harper Mystery Series。 I live that the book is set in Maine as that is where I live and the description of the weather is spot on 。 The Chief is out of town and there is a murder to solve 。 I really like the characters they are well written 。 The mystery was fantastic 。 The plot was perfectly paced 。 Looking forward to more books in this series 。

Danger at Sandpiper Bay is book #2 in the Riley Harper Mystery series by Traci Hall and Patrice Wilton。Riley Harper is a police officer in Sandpiper Bay where she lives with her mother and teenage daughter。 With a murder to solve， Riley has to also contend with winter storms that the former Arizona resident is not used to。I enjoyed this book。 I like the characters and how people pull together and help each other。 Like Kyra， I moved as a teenager and it is hard having the friends you left behind Danger at Sandpiper Bay is book #2 in the Riley Harper Mystery series by Traci Hall and Patrice Wilton。Riley Harper is a police officer in Sandpiper Bay where she lives with her mother and teenage daughter。 With a murder to solve， Riley has to also contend with winter storms that the former Arizona resident is not used to。I enjoyed this book。 I like the characters and how people pull together and help each other。 Like Kyra， I moved as a teenager and it is hard having the friends you left behind move on。 The murder mystery was intriguing， especially with having to deal with Mother Nature。I plan on reading the first book to get more of the backstory on Riley’s move from Phoenix to Sandpiper Bay and I look forward to the next book to see what happens with Riley and her family。I received an Advanced Reader Copy （ARC） of this book and I am voluntarily leaving an honest review。 。。。more

Loving this series。 Once I started reading this book I just could not put it down。 Went to bed last night and got up in the middle of the night to read and finished it this morning。 It's not often that I can't sleep because I want to know what happened in my book。 Chief Barnes is out of town visiting his triplet granddaughter's and while he is gone Officer Riley and Officer Matthew are in charge。 They go to a birthday party for one of the locals and meet a man that used to work on the island and Loving this series。 Once I started reading this book I just could not put it down。 Went to bed last night and got up in the middle of the night to read and finished it this morning。 It's not often that I can't sleep because I want to know what happened in my book。 Chief Barnes is out of town visiting his triplet granddaughter's and while he is gone Officer Riley and Officer Matthew are in charge。 They go to a birthday party for one of the locals and meet a man that used to work on the island and that no one appears to be able to get along with。 Later they find him in a snowbank。 I'm not telling anymore about the book because I don't want to give away the best parts。 While reading it I was trying to solve the murder and honestly I did not guess correctly。 Check it out and see if you can find out who murdered Lars or will you be surprised like I was。 。。。more

Riley Harper is back at it again！ Just as her life seems to be falling into place and her and her family are getting settled a body is found。 While it seems there is many people who could have been the killer， Riley is not so sure。 On her hunt for the truth and wondering if she made the right thing moving to Sandpiper Bay will she find the killer before someone else gets hurt？ One thing is for sure and that is my love for this series and it’s main character！ I loved the ending and am excited to Riley Harper is back at it again！ Just as her life seems to be falling into place and her and her family are getting settled a body is found。 While it seems there is many people who could have been the killer， Riley is not so sure。 On her hunt for the truth and wondering if she made the right thing moving to Sandpiper Bay will she find the killer before someone else gets hurt？ One thing is for sure and that is my love for this series and it’s main character！ I loved the ending and am excited to read what’s next！ Great series I highly recommend it。 。。。more
