A great little book to talk about family and gratitude with little ones。 The illustrations are awesome and at the back there are ideas on how to share that you are thankful。 Super cute！

We loved the illustrations in this book and the fact that it covers three families and their experiences of celebrating Thanksgiving while not explicitly drawing attention to differences or similarities; we discovered those as we read and reread this book。 There isn't so much a story in this book as a set of scenes and a common refrain of thankfulness that my little audience quickly pick up on and could repeat when the time came; they even copied some of the repeated gestures。 Yet， the scenes fo We loved the illustrations in this book and the fact that it covers three families and their experiences of celebrating Thanksgiving while not explicitly drawing attention to differences or similarities; we discovered those as we read and reread this book。 There isn't so much a story in this book as a set of scenes and a common refrain of thankfulness that my little audience quickly pick up on and could repeat when the time came; they even copied some of the repeated gestures。 Yet， the scenes for each of the three families did help us understand and help create their stories as we read。 With few Thanksgiving themed kids books out there that don't just repeat folklore or focus on food， this book fulfills a place we didn't know we wanted until we opened it up。 。。。more
