Summary

Midoriya inherits the superpower of the world’s greatest hero, but greatness won’t come easy。

What would the world be like if 80 percent of the population manifested superpowers called “Quirks”? Heroes and villains would be battling it out everywhere! Being a hero would mean learning to use your power, but where would you go to study? The Hero Academy of course! But what would you do if you were one of the 20 percent who were born Quirkless?

Hawks and the Safety Commission have managed to get their hands on some top secret information。 A big villain attack is coming, and the heroes must do all they can to prepare。 As part of these preparations, Eraser Head and Present Mic pay a visit to Tartarus prison, while Midoriya, Bakugo and Todoroki begin training under Endeavor in order to become fighters who can stand on their own。 In the meantime, the boys will have to survive a dinner party at the Todoroki household!

Todoroki family drama, my 3 faves working together, AIZAWA。 This one made me cry 😭

Adam

Really feeling for Todoroki and his family in this one。Its definitely a hard situation in learning and trying to forgive someone for the bad things they have done in your life。 So it really rings home on that front。Midoriya as always is just so kind hearted and knows what to say in the right moment。After reading this, it has really pushed me rkstart picking up Vigilantes。 Which I feel I should have done from the start!I am really looking forward to seeing where the story goes。 Roll on volume 27!

My Hero Academia, Vol。 26 continues where the previous tankōbon left off and contains the next dozen chapters (247–258) of the on-going manga series。The tankōbon concludes the internship arc。 Izuku Midoriya, Katsuki Bakugō and Shōto Todoroki begin training under Enji Todoroki as Endeavor – the Number One Hero and Shōto's father。 In order to become fighters who can stand on their own, they will have to observe and learn all Endeavor could teach them and survive a dinner party at his house。The sec My Hero Academia, Vol。 26 continues where the previous tankōbon left off and contains the next dozen chapters (247–258) of the on-going manga series。The tankōbon concludes the internship arc。 Izuku Midoriya, Katsuki Bakugō and Shōto Todoroki begin training under Enji Todoroki as Endeavor – the Number One Hero and Shōto's father。 In order to become fighters who can stand on their own, they will have to observe and learn all Endeavor could teach them and survive a dinner party at his house。The second half of the tankōbon introduces the next arc。 Hawks and the Safety Commission have managed to get their hands on some top secret information and it involves Shōta Aizawa as Eraser Head and Hizashi Yamada as Present Mic – as a person from their class – seemingly imprisoned may not be what it seems。Kohei Horikoshi has written and illustrated this tankōbon。 It concludes the internship arc rather wonderfully exploring the Todoroki family even more。 It reveals that Shōto Todoroki has three older siblings: Akira Todoroki who seems to be dead, Natsuo Todoroki who blames his father for his older brother's death, and Fuyumi Todoroki, who is Endeavor's only daughter。 The second half of a tankōbon has Eraser Head and Present Mic investigating a case that pertains to a person they one knew and considered a friend, which uncovers that the Paranormal Liberation Front is on the move。All in all, My Hero Academia, Vol。 26 is a good continuation of the series that seems really intriguing and I can't wait to read what happens next。 。。。more

The series continues to be adorable, inspiring, funny, and action-packed in a way that only manga with casts of superpowered misfits can be。 At this point, I do find it a touch strange that we're given a bit of a time-jump。 We go from, like, some serious stuff being revealed to a three-month skip to a time in the future where everybody is stronger and we have a big plan to handle what very much seems like the Final Battle。 I think we could've had a touch more plot, or even filler, but I can appr The series continues to be adorable, inspiring, funny, and action-packed in a way that only manga with casts of superpowered misfits can be。 At this point, I do find it a touch strange that we're given a bit of a time-jump。 We go from, like, some serious stuff being revealed to a three-month skip to a time in the future where everybody is stronger and we have a big plan to handle what very much seems like the Final Battle。 I think we could've had a touch more plot, or even filler, but I can appreciate a sense of urgency, I suppose。 。。。more

There’s so much going on in this volume: with Deku, with Bakugo, with the whole Todoroki family, with Hawks。 And it’s just so entertaining and moving and special, and even when it’s terrifying it’s super enjoyable

RATING: 4 starsOkay, so this volume is also a huge build-up thing。 I'm really excited to get to the next big battle lol。 Bakugou, Deku, and Todoroki having a Todo-family dinner was totally hilarious lol。 Bakugou asking Fuyumi for her recipe pfffft and then him yelling at them for pulling out family drama when they had guests over。 I really want more interaction with these three together, they're hilarious。 And then the villain attack that came next sorta made。。。 listen I still don't think Endeav RATING: 4 starsOkay, so this volume is also a huge build-up thing。 I'm really excited to get to the next big battle lol。 Bakugou, Deku, and Todoroki having a Todo-family dinner was totally hilarious lol。 Bakugou asking Fuyumi for her recipe pfffft and then him yelling at them for pulling out family drama when they had guests over。 I really want more interaction with these three together, they're hilarious。 And then the villain attack that came next sorta made。。。 listen I still don't think Endeavor deserves redemption but I also am not gonna hate on what he's doing right now? Idk。 I get where both Fuyumi and Natsuo are coming from, though, and I feel terrible for everyone except Endeavor for how their family got ruined。Aside from that, the work studies were really short this time around! I don't know why I thought it would be a longer thing, but nope。 One week and they were back at school lol。 I still love getting the mundane parts of these characters' lives and just normal day-to-day stuff at UA though! And everyone leveling up after their work studies was pretty cool。 I care about all of these kids wayyyy too much lol。 (Also I see that Izuocha stuff happening YES)And then I think in the middle of the volume there was that whole thing with Aizawa's old classmate。。。 that's pretty brutal。 (view spoiler)[ ALSO KUROGIRI'S A NOMU WHAT? That's。。。 genius and also vaguely terrifying。 (hide spoiler)]I'm still nervous for what's coming next but I'm also pretty excited! 。。。more

This definitely feels like a breather arc while Shiggy and the Paranormal Liberation Front gear up to attack hero society, but am I complaining??? This volume has been quite glorious。 Chapter 252 "The Unforgiven" in particular was a master piece。 I absolutely live for Todoroki family drama and this volume delivered。 Bakugo has grown on me so much since my initial introduction to him as Deku's bully。 He might still be an arsehole, but he's keeping it real。 He challenges adults like none of the other and beneath the attitude, he's a really smart guy and a good hero。 He really did teach the Todorokis how to have a successful diner party。 In c This volume has been quite glorious。 Chapter 252 "The Unforgiven" in particular was a master piece。 I absolutely live for Todoroki family drama and this volume delivered。 Bakugo has grown on me so much since my initial introduction to him as Deku's bully。 He might still be an arsehole, but he's keeping it real。 He challenges adults like none of the other and beneath the attitude, he's a really smart guy and a good hero。 He really did teach the Todorokis how to have a successful diner party。 In chapter 252 the three kids: Izuku, Shoto and Bakugo, who are on a work study at Endeavor agency, finally get there chance to shine and level up as they take down the villain who kidnapped Natsuo Todorki。 The passion and emotion in this chapter was incredible。 The artist does a really good job of showing each characters feeling in the midst of battle, Shoto's wrath for his brother, Midoriya's determination and glee at his control and Bakugo as Bakugo。 The highlight for me was however, the exchange between Natsuo and his father。 Seeing Endeavor on his knees hugging his child, and pouring out his feeling about how he wants Natsuo to still challenge him on his behaviour。 Brilliant! This guy really is growing。I'm a bit scared for him if I'm being honest。 The glass guy said he signalled the end of the world。 Why do I feel like Endeavor is going to have to die to truly be forgiven? And why do we only get these little crumbs about Touya。 I wamt more。 This story line is being dragged on longer than a soap opera。And then we get the truth about Warp Gate and Aizawa and Present Mic's dead friend。 Seeing him cry was special。 There was alot of emotion going around in this volume。 And a helluva lot of growth。 It also seems Eri is about to play a part in the story again which is going to be cool。 I really like that the Paranormal Liberation Army are going to take a holistic approach to getting their freedom。 The killkng of heros and taking political and industrial control is going to be hard to combat。 They've also diversified their force with a well organised power structure。 Hawks is still all up in there taking one for the team。 He really is one of my faves。 The villains are coming together。 The heroes are uniting。 The kids are growing。 It's gonna be war! 。。。more

I read this on the Shonen Jump website。 This volume was pretty cool。 They're still lining up the pieces for something really big。 All the heroes have mastered new techniques and we're learning more about what's going on with the Paranormal Liberation Front。 I suspect next volume we will get to see the big conflict between them and the heroes。 I read this on the Shonen Jump website。 This volume was pretty cool。 They're still lining up the pieces for something really big。 All the heroes have mastered new techniques and we're learning more about what's going on with the Paranormal Liberation Front。 I suspect next volume we will get to see the big conflict between them and the heroes。 。。。more

3/5 Stars (%63/100)I liked it in general but this volume is more like a transition for me。 We have more time for the next volume but that one is where the real action begins。 Yet, it was still fun to read。 The students are getting ready to move on to the next year while pro heroes have things to worry about themselves。 It was also interesting to learn more about Todoroki Shoto and his family。 Overall, nice volume but don't expect to be surprised a lot。 Waiting anxiously for the next one。 3/5 Stars (%63/100)I liked it in general but this volume is more like a transition for me。 We have more time for the next volume but that one is where the real action begins。 Yet, it was still fun to read。 The students are getting ready to move on to the next year while pro heroes have things to worry about themselves。 It was also interesting to learn more about Todoroki Shoto and his family。 Overall, nice volume but don't expect to be surprised a lot。 Waiting anxiously for the next one。 。。。more
