Maybe you need to read the whole series， but I didn’t I just read this one because I didn’t realise it was a series。 Anyway， it left me cold。 Couldn’t care less about the characters they were not developed in any way， no plot twists and few ghosts， it claimed to be a rom com/gothic horror mix- it isn’t。 The plot was mundane， the false trails obvious and it ended with a fizzle not a bang。 I’ll not be bothering with the rest。

After more than thirty books， I never get tired of reading this series。 I look forward to each new book that comes out。 We have some of the original cast of characters， but love the new and fairly new characters。 There is always a spark of love and a bit of history throughout the story。 Ryder and Sienna work well together and Fin is good。

I’m giving 3 ⭐️’s。 Nothing wrong with the book really， the series just doesn’t seem as exciting as they once were。 I used to devour the ‘Krewe’ books in 1 or 2 sessions， and that’s just not happening anymore。

I try to read all of Heather Graham's Books involving the Krewe of Hunters。 I loved "The Unknown。"I'm interested and always have been in the powers that people may possess and not know it。 I think all of us have some of these。 This storyline as well as its characters are great and the ending was not suspected by me。 A little convoluted， but it took nothing away from the characters and storyline。 I try to read all of Heather Graham's Books involving the Krewe of Hunters。 I loved "The Unknown。"I'm interested and always have been in the powers that people may possess and not know it。 I think all of us have some of these。 This storyline as well as its characters are great and the ending was not suspected by me。 A little convoluted， but it took nothing away from the characters and storyline。 。。。more

I enjoy the Krewe of Hunters book， this one is about investments and money。 Plus animals and a small museum。 I enjoy learning about the new characters and the old ones are still there。 There is always some type of mystery and romance， normally the main male characters is involved with the murder and then a woman comes along that is involved and then in the end they get together。 Heather Graham writes a mystery suspense story。

Fitting titleGranny K might be one of my favorite ghosts of the series。 Fires and ghosts and romance …oh my 😜 The Krewe is back， but with a new soon to be agent who was in previous stories as a NOLA detective。 The crimes span a 10 year window and different cities。 I did not figure out who was guilty until the end and I loved how all the pieces came together。 Great characters and fully developed story。 The romance is quick， but it is also fitting with how their emotions worked on chemistry vs the Fitting titleGranny K might be one of my favorite ghosts of the series。 Fires and ghosts and romance …oh my 😜 The Krewe is back， but with a new soon to be agent who was in previous stories as a NOLA detective。 The crimes span a 10 year window and different cities。 I did not figure out who was guilty until the end and I loved how all the pieces came together。 Great characters and fully developed story。 The romance is quick， but it is also fitting with how their emotions worked on chemistry vs the crime and friendships。 Angela and Fin front wheel Krewe had some roles and the ability to talk to Ghosts was more normal for the story。 Good addition of history through the museum and get。 Another fun story and good addition to the series！ 。。。more

3。5After being underwhelmed by book 1 of the Krewe of Hunters series， Phantom Evil， I was pleased to find a more concise story and better character development in the 35th book in the series， The Unknown。 The plot seemed far-fetched for the average Joes involved， but I enjoyed getting to know main characters Sienna and Ryder， who thankfully had at least a little chemistry before joining forces in the bedroom， and secondary characters like Sienna’s colleagues at the museum。 Sienna’s grandmother， 3。5After being underwhelmed by book 1 of the Krewe of Hunters series， Phantom Evil， I was pleased to find a more concise story and better character development in the 35th book in the series， The Unknown。 The plot seemed far-fetched for the average Joes involved， but I enjoyed getting to know main characters Sienna and Ryder， who thankfully had at least a little chemistry before joining forces in the bedroom， and secondary characters like Sienna’s colleagues at the museum。 Sienna’s grandmother， Granny K， was my favorite personality， thanks to her sassy observations and mild meddling。 I did find it a stretch that the book is described as being part of the Krewe series， since Ryder is a New Orleans detective who doesn’t become a member of the Krewe team until the book ends。 Angela Hawkins from the original Krewe team does have a very small part in this tale and more recent Krewe member Fin a secondary role， but the story still seems more like a spin-off than a sequel。 Perhaps Krewe books 2-34 follow a similar pattern。 There was a storyline involving rodents that seemed unnecessary and unsupported， as well as characters like Sienna’s parents that remained underdeveloped， but overall The Unknown was an enjoyable read。 。。。more

Heather Graham never disappoints。 If you are looking for a mystery with romance and a paranormal influence then look no further。 This is book #35 in the Krewe of Hunter series but the best part about this series is you can start anywhere in the series。I always love the ghosts in Heather's books but Granny K is awesome！ Some of the things she says to Sienna are hilarious。I cannot wait to read #36！ Heather Graham never disappoints。 If you are looking for a mystery with romance and a paranormal influence then look no further。 This is book #35 in the Krewe of Hunter series but the best part about this series is you can start anywhere in the series。I always love the ghosts in Heather's books but Granny K is awesome！ Some of the things she says to Sienna are hilarious。I cannot wait to read #36！ 。。。more
