I read the first book in this series when I was in 6th grade （I’m a sophomore in college now） and it’s one of the books that got me into fantasy。 Crazy that it’s still ongoing。 I’ll always feel nostalgic for that first book :）

A glorious continuation of the series that began with The False Prince。 Jaron is everything you want him to be in this book。 Imogene， Tobias， Fink， and the others also come through as expected。 Lots of loose ends are tied up。 It is super important to read the series in order， or you will miss a great deal。 Highly recommended for fans of the series， or readers looking for a new series to binge。 For grades 4 & up。eARC provided by publisher via Edelweiss
