Labyrinth of Lies is as wonderful as the first book in Irene Hannon's Triple Threat series， and I am already anxiously awaiting the third。 In this story St。 Louis County detective Cate Reilly reconnects with her former boyfriend when their undercover assignments collide。 Cate is working undercover as a student at an exclusive girls' boarding school investigating the disappearance of a student while DEA Agent Zeke Sloan is working undercover as a substitute Spanish teacher while investigating the Labyrinth of Lies is as wonderful as the first book in Irene Hannon's Triple Threat series， and I am already anxiously awaiting the third。 In this story St。 Louis County detective Cate Reilly reconnects with her former boyfriend when their undercover assignments collide。 Cate is working undercover as a student at an exclusive girls' boarding school investigating the disappearance of a student while DEA Agent Zeke Sloan is working undercover as a substitute Spanish teacher while investigating the school's connection to a large drug ring。 Hannon has cooked up an intriguing tale of suspense and danger seasoned with just a bit of romance， and the result is delectable。 Writing like this is why Hannon is one of my top five suspense authors。 I am grateful to have received a complimentary copy of Labyrinth of Lies from Revell via NetGalley without obligation。 All opinions expressed here are my own。 。。。more

I liked this story。 the characters were very interesting to read。 the story was based on a school and a missing person case。 the woman detective was very confuse on what her assignment was about。 however， I did not like how she was acting based on a certain case。 the romance was very good and slow burn。 people should read this book。 they will not regret it。

Labyrinth perfectly describes this latest tale of intrigue from Irene Hannon。 As always， her expertise in suspense and intricacies of the human condition and complexities drive the narrative。 The strong yet vulnerable characters of Cate Reilly and Zeke Sloan are relatable and well-rounded。 Both have past wounds and carefully guarded secrets， but the deceit lies externally and shrouded in double lives and motives。 Since there's quite a history between the two， working as a team requires reluctant Labyrinth perfectly describes this latest tale of intrigue from Irene Hannon。 As always， her expertise in suspense and intricacies of the human condition and complexities drive the narrative。 The strong yet vulnerable characters of Cate Reilly and Zeke Sloan are relatable and well-rounded。 Both have past wounds and carefully guarded secrets， but the deceit lies externally and shrouded in double lives and motives。 Since there's quite a history between the two， working as a team requires reluctant cooperation and constant awareness。 This would be an excellent contemporary movie。 Although part of the Triple Threat series， Labyrinth works well as a stand-alone read and a great introduction to the trilogy for me。 I received a complimentary copy of the book without obligation。 This review is my opinion。 。。。more

This was a wonderful book！！ I regret how long it took me to read this cause it was so good！ Irene Hannon is by far my favorite suspense author！ She writes such in-depth characters。 My only problem was how feminist Cate acted。 Other than that it was great！ 4。5 stars。I received an eARC from the publisher via NetGalley， all opinions are my own。

I got strong Gallagher Girls vibes right away， but that's probably because the book is set in an all-girls private school。 Hannon did a great job keeping me guessing and I didn't suspect the perp until just before they were revealed！！！！ There was a lot of subterfuge and things not being as they seemed， from the bad guys and the good guys。 Labyrinth of Lies is the perfect title。I really liked Cate's sisters。 Their relationship is fun and sweet。 I wish they could have been around more， but that wo I got strong Gallagher Girls vibes right away， but that's probably because the book is set in an all-girls private school。 Hannon did a great job keeping me guessing and I didn't suspect the perp until just before they were revealed！！！！ There was a lot of subterfuge and things not being as they seemed， from the bad guys and the good guys。 Labyrinth of Lies is the perfect title。I really liked Cate's sisters。 Their relationship is fun and sweet。 I wish they could have been around more， but that wouldn't work for obvious reasons。 I also really like Kayla。 It's a relatively minor subplot， but I just liked how everything went with her。 How Cate connected to her and was able to form a relationship。The case took a larger role than personal character growth， which is new。 Our MCs did have things to work through， but there wasn't as clear of a message or theme that they were learning。 Not bad， just different。My one drawback was how big of a role the romance held in the story。 Usually， it's in the background or a minor part of the plot because catching bad guys is more important！ I just didn't like how it was done in this one。Many thanks to Revell and NetGalley for a copy of the book。 All opinions are my own and a favorable review was not required。 。。。more

Cate is again asked to work undercover in this second in a series。 Christian based suspense without being preachy， I enjoyed the romantic connections equally with the police investigation。 While there was never any doubt how the book would end， it certainly was fun getting there。
