From the outside， both Joshua and Hartford seem like well-adjusted， successful adults making their way in the world。 On the inside， both Joshua and Hartford have unresolved broken hearts。 While the 2 of them stumble through a particularly hard time in life they let their walls down just enough to let each other in。 This is a sweet and steamy HEA that warmed my heart。 Thank you for the opportunity to read this ARC。

This was an awesome story about friendship turning to love。 It easily stands alone as Joshua's friends are really more supporting characters in this story and not really a pig part of this story。 I adored every single page， the author did an amazing job on this story。 It had a fantastic plot and wonderful characters who had depth。 It was a really fun， sweet， hot and romantic story。 I think its the best book this author has ever written and I am so impressed with this book。This is the story of Jo This was an awesome story about friendship turning to love。 It easily stands alone as Joshua's friends are really more supporting characters in this story and not really a pig part of this story。 I adored every single page， the author did an amazing job on this story。 It had a fantastic plot and wonderful characters who had depth。 It was a really fun， sweet， hot and romantic story。 I think its the best book this author has ever written and I am so impressed with this book。This is the story of Joshua who lives on Park Lane， and is nicknamed Mr Park Lane by the heroine。 It takes place in London and Hartford is flying in to London to start a new job as a Pedetrician in a hospital， but she also has broken her ankle。 Joshua is a family friend and he has rented an apartment next door for her to stay in， while he keeps his eyes on her for their moms who are best friends。Hartford grew up with Joshua during the summers and he was three years older and she had a major crush on him。 But she was a teen with braces， zits and not a lot of style so he flirted with her sister Thia and never really saw her。As Joshua spends time with Hartford he gets to know her and they really become very close to each other。 Joshua had his heart broken young and so all he does is have casual relationships。 I loved watching these two become friends and fall for each other。 I also loved watching Joshua have to work hard to get Hartford to see him as something more。There is also a side plot about a medication that puts Joshua and Hartford on opposite sides and I adored this side plot。 It really made the book and was a great conflict between these two。I received a complimentary early release copy of this e-book from the author prior to release and am voluntarily leaving a review。 。。。more

Mr。 Park Lane by Louise Bay is the 4th book in The Mister Series （but can be read as a complete standalone）。 But I think it is always amazing to read about this wonderful group of friends and their stories and meet well known characters that you fell in love before。 This book is about Hartford Kent and Joshua Luca who I fell in love with very hard， fast and easy。 Hartford is back in London from her time in Yemen with Medicines Sans Frontiers because of her broken leg。 Her mom arranged for her to Mr。 Park Lane by Louise Bay is the 4th book in The Mister Series （but can be read as a complete standalone）。 But I think it is always amazing to read about this wonderful group of friends and their stories and meet well known characters that you fell in love before。 This book is about Hartford Kent and Joshua Luca who I fell in love with very hard， fast and easy。 Hartford is back in London from her time in Yemen with Medicines Sans Frontiers because of her broken leg。 Her mom arranged for her to stay with Joshua who was best friends with Hartford’s brother when they were kids。 Little did her mother know that Hartford was crushing hard on Joshua for quite some time in her teens。 All that ended when she was 17 and did something not particularly smart that broke her leg。 That was the day she vowed to hold her guard up against Joshua。12 years fast forward they meet again。 She’s lost her monobrow and her braces and works as a pediatrician。 Joshua is as handsome as she remembers and nowadays a marketing mogul。I really loved reading their story from the beginning to the end。 At first I was a little concerned because Joshua lives and enjoys his playboy lifestyle but he is just too sweet。 A real good guy which surprised me， but it was a really good surprise。 He cares deeply for his friends and wants to do right by everyone。 At first he doesn’t really know what to do with Hartford but they get along really quickly especially because of their mutual love for food。 Both are also dedicated to their jobs but only Joshua has a social life after work。 That’s where Hartford’s new boss Gerry， a very well known pediatrician in London， cuts in - she has to report weekly to him what she does/did in her leisure time to have a decent work-life-balance。 Honestly， I kinda loved him for that because it means he cares not only for his little patients but also for his residents/attendings。 Hartford is real， genuine， passionate sweet， a little insecure and different than every other woman Joshua has met before。 She doesn’t even recognize her beauty。 But Joshua does。 And everyone else does too。 Though he has some trouble to understand and admit the feelings he has。 Sometimes you want to shake both of them。 Mr。 Park Lane is a beautiful， heartwarming， amazingly written slow-burn romance that I can only recommend。 I couldn’t put the book down。 It was just too captivating。 5 stars ⭐️A few of my favorite quotes （just because）: „Their obsession with Joshua was a little weird。 Their obsession with Joshua and me was borderline uncomfortable。“ - Chapter 9„She looked good in all of them。 But the pale blue top looked best with her skin tone， and the neckline showed off just the right amount of cleavage。 I’d suggested she wear he green。“ - Chapter 12 （this one made me laugh really hard） „I couldn’t imagine anyone not liking Hartford。 She was one of those people who just made everyone instantly comfortable。 Another reason why I needed to get a bit of distance。 I was too comfortable hanging out with her。“ - Chapter 15 （made me shake my head）„You’re as beautiful on the outside as you are on the inside， and that’s bloody stunning。“ - Chapter 27 。。。more
