FantasticI have loved Carson and Allie’s story so much。 The cliffhanger ending of the last book made this one one of my most anticipated this year。 So much happens to and between them and it’s fab to see the journey that Holly Renee takes you on。Each character is built up and explored in a way that is sensitive and gripping in places。 The storyline evolves and comes to a natural conclusion。 Nothing is forced。 I couldn’t put it down and stayed awake all night to finish it。Highly recommended

This book starts where we left off in the last book。 Allie has learned the truth and Carson is no longer in denial about his feelings for Allie。 I've really enjoyed this story because I think this couple fits well together。 They match。 I'm not going to lie though， this book gave me some "After" and "After We Fell" movie vibes。 Not sure if you watched those movies？ I think it's because the way these two couldn't shake each other。 The chemistry and addiction between these two were overwhelming。 Li This book starts where we left off in the last book。 Allie has learned the truth and Carson is no longer in denial about his feelings for Allie。 I've really enjoyed this story because I think this couple fits well together。 They match。 I'm not going to lie though， this book gave me some "After" and "After We Fell" movie vibes。 Not sure if you watched those movies？ I think it's because the way these two couldn't shake each other。 The chemistry and addiction between these two were overwhelming。 Like if this ever happened to me， I would need to take weeks or a month before I could stand to see the guy。 But not Allie and Carson。 Some of it wasn't Allie's fault but I still would be in a "Do Not Engage" mode。I like how Allie grew in a way， I think she has more growing but I like how she really evaluated her feelings。 I love Carson and his conviction。 It's really sweet that he is so sure about his feelings when it comes to Allie。 Eli is another story。。。I'm not sure I've ever disliked a character as much as I dislike Eli。 He's on the Top 5 of characters that need to be taught a lesson。 Gosh， the things that came out of his mouth。。。。Carson had to address not only is past but take a hard look at who we wants to be for himself and for Allie。 Dealing with the past is never something an easy thing to do。 Plus， he had Allie with him which I think sometimes makes it harder because someone is seeing parts of yourself that are healing。 I'll read more and hope this author decides to write more about this group of friends。 They are enjoyable and they are supportive which is always nice to have。 I'm hoping for more！ And if there is， I will be first in line！ 。。。more

5 StarsThis is the perfect ending for these two dynamic and heart-wrenching characters。 This journey took us on an emotional rollercoaster of epic proportions。 I didn’t know what to expect after that soul searing cliffhanger at the end of book 1， but I could not have asked for a better ending for Allie and Carson。 Holly takes us deep inside what has made Carson the way he is。 We get to see all the emotions and struggles that he’s been living with these past few years and its legit going to m 5 StarsThis is the perfect ending for these two dynamic and heart-wrenching characters。 This journey took us on an emotional rollercoaster of epic proportions。 I didn’t know what to expect after that soul searing cliffhanger at the end of book 1， but I could not have asked for a better ending for Allie and Carson。 Holly takes us deep inside what has made Carson the way he is。 We get to see all the emotions and struggles that he’s been living with these past few years and its legit going to make you cry。 Holly ripped my heart straight out of my chest and left and empty hole where it used to be。 I wasn’t prepared for the amount of tears this book was going to induce。 Allie and Carson are so special in that they have a whole world of memories between them that are just theirs。 Their love it one that grew from a shared childhood and emotional connection to one of the deepest loves possible。 Relationships grown out of friendship are ones that you can feel the depth from within。 It’s a visceral feeling that adds more layers to an already seamless storyline and watching them fight for what they want is beautiful to witness。 Holly fostered the love and loss of Allie in Carson in many ways。 She brought to life their fights and triumphs， their heartbreaks and their happiness。 But what shines through the most is the love that you can feel between them。 Even when they were fighting you could still see that love gleam bright。 These two are a couple that is going to live with me long after I’ve finished and definitely one that I will reread time and time again。 Holly has created magic with Carson and Allie and if second chance， enemies to lovers， is your jam then look no further， these two will check all your boxes and more。 。。。more

Steamy enemies to lovers I enjoyed the conclusion to Carson and Allie's story。 I know that Carson only entered into the original bet to keep Eli away from Allie。 His intentions weren't exactly pure but he did want to protect her。The book felt a bit anticlimactic with the volunteer duties。 I thought there would be something else other than just working on the house together。 I guess it was the authors way of forcing the characters together since they went to different schools。This half of the boo Steamy enemies to lovers I enjoyed the conclusion to Carson and Allie's story。 I know that Carson only entered into the original bet to keep Eli away from Allie。 His intentions weren't exactly pure but he did want to protect her。The book felt a bit anticlimactic with the volunteer duties。 I thought there would be something else other than just working on the house together。 I guess it was the authors way of forcing the characters together since they went to different schools。This half of the book was mostly sex。 It felt a bit much towards the end。 I was happy to see Allie be there for Carson when he needed it。 There was a time gap where I felt like some or the story was missing at the end。 It will probably be in the next book。Overall it's a good quick read。 。。。more
