I really enjoyed the first Haven Isle book and I couldn't wait to read Asher and Maddie's story。 They have been friends for years and Maddie is Asher's executive assistant and his sister's best friend。 She has been in love with him since she was twelve but he has never thought of her as more than a friend。 The first half of the book deals with Asher finally opening his eyes to Maddie， although he is still married to his estranged wife Inez。 I really liked this book， but my one gripe was Inez cha I really enjoyed the first Haven Isle book and I couldn't wait to read Asher and Maddie's story。 They have been friends for years and Maddie is Asher's executive assistant and his sister's best friend。 She has been in love with him since she was twelve but he has never thought of her as more than a friend。 The first half of the book deals with Asher finally opening his eyes to Maddie， although he is still married to his estranged wife Inez。 I really liked this book， but my one gripe was Inez character。 She is rotten to the core， to the point that it makes her a really two-dimensional character and really hard to accept as part of the story。 Other than that， I really enjoyed it and I'm especially looking forward to Catherine's story as the series continues。I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review。 。。。more
