Four and a half Stars ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭒Dear Santa by Debbie Macomber is a sweet， holiday romance that is both heartwarming and delightful。 This book could easily turn into a Hallmark movie as it’s everything you’d expect on the Hallmark Channel for a holiday movie。 There are enough cute Christmassy events， but not too much to make it saccharine。 Lindy Carmichael returns to her parent’s home in Wenatchee， Washington， for Christmas。 She has two weeks to spend with her parents and spend time with her friends。 Four and a half Stars ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭒Dear Santa by Debbie Macomber is a sweet， holiday romance that is both heartwarming and delightful。 This book could easily turn into a Hallmark movie as it’s everything you’d expect on the Hallmark Channel for a holiday movie。 There are enough cute Christmassy events， but not too much to make it saccharine。 Lindy Carmichael returns to her parent’s home in Wenatchee， Washington， for Christmas。 She has two weeks to spend with her parents and spend time with her friends。 Leaving her home in Seattle is just the break she needs now as she recently caught her boyfriend and best friend together and she’s feeling down about the job that is not giving her the creative outlet she needs。 At home， she finds an old box of letters she wrote to Santa as a child。 Reading the letters， she realized that most of them have come true。 While in her hometown， she runs into her childhood nemesis， Billy， who owns and manages The Wine Press， a local restaurant。 She realized that Billy was a bully to her during school because he liked her。 And she also feels bad that she asked Santa to put a lump of coal in Billy’s stocking when they were little， and then shortly after that， Billy and his family left town。 Debbie Macomber can write a sweet， lovely Christmas story like nobody else。 She balances some tough issues， inside a sweet small town， with just a bit of Christmas magic that is perfect for the holiday season。 I could feel the conflict that Lindy was going through and couldn’t wait for her to find her way to happiness。 As usual， this Debbie Macomber Christmas story does not disappoint。 I recommend this book to anyone looking for a sweet holiday romance。 I received a complimentary copy of this book。 The opinions expressed in this review are completely my own。 。。。more
