I am this close to tracking down Sarah K。L。 Wilson and demanding book three right now。 I am upset (and thrilled and enamoured and all of the things) and need to know what happens next immediately。

I cannot possibly rave enough about this series。 I thought I was enthralled after book 1, haha, oh no, dear friends, oh no。 Book 2 has left me in such a state of whimsical despair with longing。 This story and characters has swept me away and promises to never return me again。 I had no idea it would swiftly take the place of probably my favorite fantasy series to date。Gorgeous characters that grow as the plot unfolds。 Betrayal and redemption are palpable menu items that are so sweet and delicious I cannot possibly rave enough about this series。 I thought I was enthralled after book 1, haha, oh no, dear friends, oh no。 Book 2 has left me in such a state of whimsical despair with longing。 This story and characters has swept me away and promises to never return me again。 I had no idea it would swiftly take the place of probably my favorite fantasy series to date。Gorgeous characters that grow as the plot unfolds。 Betrayal and redemption are palpable menu items that are so sweet and delicious。 Even the side characters are teeming with brilliant execution。 I'm a lost ship at sea until the final book in this series is in my hands。 I hope Wilson never stops writing these characters。 。。。more

A rather confusing story which is reminiscent of another series by Sarah K。L。 Wilson。 Perhaps if I could recall the first book, it might not be quite so confusing。 Izolda is quite interesting。 The Wittenbrand much less so though the Bramble King may be an exception。 This story ends in a cliffhanger which I, as usual, find unacceptable。 Nonetheless, the imagery, emotions, and dizzying plot make it entertaining。Action-packed。 Easy-to-read。 Entertaining。 Haunting。 Romantic。 Tragic。 Twisted。 Unpredi A rather confusing story which is reminiscent of another series by Sarah K。L。 Wilson。 Perhaps if I could recall the first book, it might not be quite so confusing。 Izolda is quite interesting。 The Wittenbrand much less so though the Bramble King may be an exception。 This story ends in a cliffhanger which I, as usual, find unacceptable。 Nonetheless, the imagery, emotions, and dizzying plot make it entertaining。Action-packed。 Easy-to-read。 Entertaining。 Haunting。 Romantic。 Tragic。 Twisted。 Unpredictable。 Whimsical。 Wonderful characters。I received a review copy of this book from a third party。 This is my honest review。 。。。more

Wonderful continuation of the series。 It picks up where the first book left off and is just as action packed。 The story flows smoothly and keeps you interested until the very end。 I love Izolda's personality and how she refuses to back down no matter what。 Wonderful continuation of the series。 It picks up where the first book left off and is just as action packed。 The story flows smoothly and keeps you interested until the very end。 I love Izolda's personality and how she refuses to back down no matter what。 。。。more

This is book two of this series and it is great。 There is non-stop action from beginning to end。 Izolda find herself in the middle of a war and an ongoing battle between her husband and another Wittenbrand。 She is being grabbed by one and taken back by the other。 along the way she realises a few things involving her homeland and her own feelings。

Short review I’m afraid。Loved this 2nd book in the series。 Following on from book 1。 I was so engrossed in the story I didn’t realize I was in the last chapter。 Great Bluebeard series。 Couldn’t put the book down。Excellent storyline。 Can’t wait for the next one。 Well worth my time。

Silver Surfer

Wow, book two in the series and it never lets up from start to finish。 I was completely and utterly engrossed。 Where does this author get the ideas from, I couldn’t even fathom。 Roll on book three。 Highly recommended。

Book 2 of 4 This may be Sarah KL Wilson's best series yet。 Vivid imagery of Wittenhame and a very slow burn romance are set within the long games of the fae as they plot and battle for control of the world。 Book 2 of 4 This may be Sarah KL Wilson's best series yet。 Vivid imagery of Wittenhame and a very slow burn romance are set within the long games of the fae as they plot and battle for control of the world。 。。。more

This book picks up right where book one left off and drops you immediately back into a whirlwind of action and rarely pauses for breath right up to the final page。 There is no gentle easing back into the story with a recap of what happened in the first book, so if you haven't read "Dance with the Arrow" yet I'd abolustely recommend starting there before moving onto this book or you'll spend a lot of time scratching your head and wondering who these people are and what is going on。Izolda a pawn s This book picks up right where book one left off and drops you immediately back into a whirlwind of action and rarely pauses for breath right up to the final page。 There is no gentle easing back into the story with a recap of what happened in the first book, so if you haven't read "Dance with the Arrow" yet I'd abolustely recommend starting there before moving onto this book or you'll spend a lot of time scratching your head and wondering who these people are and what is going on。Izolda a pawn stuck in the middle of the game of war played by the Wittenhame。 She chooses where her loyalties lie and fights to find a way to be a useful ally to her husband with more than just use of her days。 Izolda considers herself a strong but above all sensible heroine who faces the situations in which she finds herself with a good dose of common sense wherever possible as she makes mistakes and sometimes achieves sucesses, but always seems to aquire additional complications。 As the title suggests the Sword is a major player in this book as he tries to gain the upper hand over the Arrow and he sees Izolda as key to his success。As is typical for a book by Ms。 Wilson there is no resolution at the end of the book。 We'll need to wait for book three, and then probably book four before getting to any sort of conclusion of the story。 When authors write such open ended books, they really should do readers the favour of getting the whole series to them as soon as possible。 I can understand the author's need to space the releases out but if you're going to write a series of books that is one continuous story rather than separate stories that build on each other to create a greater whole, you really should try and release them in fairly quick succession。 It is bad enough having to wait for the next book in a series when the characters and plot have been left in a fairly secure place, it's so much worse when everything is left so open。I was given an ARC in return that favour by giving an honest review。 。。。more
