I really enjoyed this series but this book disappointed, especially when the main conflict was resolved about 60% of the way through。 Rest of the book was therefore a bit unnecessary sadly!

Wolf Whisperer is the final book in the Rejected Mate Refuge Trilogy。 Overall, this series fell a little flat for me。 I found the first book in the series to be filled with triggers, then loved the second and the final book just felt very hectic。 Lola Glass writes incredible characters。 I loved Cara and Knox but also Ryker, Shadow, Bulldozer etc。 The relationships, both romantic and platonic, are always delightful and really the best part of this series。 Unfortunately, this book just felt very h Wolf Whisperer is the final book in the Rejected Mate Refuge Trilogy。 Overall, this series fell a little flat for me。 I found the first book in the series to be filled with triggers, then loved the second and the final book just felt very hectic。 Lola Glass writes incredible characters。 I loved Cara and Knox but also Ryker, Shadow, Bulldozer etc。 The relationships, both romantic and platonic, are always delightful and really the best part of this series。 Unfortunately, this book just felt very hectic and complicated for little reason。 It was a quick read but felt disjointed and lacked a cohesive plot。 。。。more

I don't know what all to say except I love this series。 I love that this story is fast-paced but Lola gave these two characters time to deal with their traumas but still have a great relationship。 Can't wait for shadow's story! What a great end to a series! I didn't think that there could be any more twists and turns but the novel was pa ked with them。 We get to see some great romantic moments, some new bonds being formed and new villains being revealed。 Lola Glass knows how to keep readers invested and engaged。 I'm excited to see what happens to the other rejected mates when they get their own books What a great end to a series! Great EndingLoved this book and this entire series。 It’s so different from the author’s prior work。 It’s darker and deeper。 This book is not only about tying up loose ends and taking down the bad guy but also about finding that point in healing when it’s time to move on。

This couple never stops giving。 Knox and Cara are always giving their time and attention to anyone in need。 Knox has fast became a favorite and even though he has had a rough past you never see him not standing tall for his friends or Cara。 I missed this story as soon as I read the last sentence and can't wait to see what Lola has next。🥰 This couple never stops giving。 Knox and Cara are always giving their time and attention to anyone in need。 Knox has fast became a favorite and even though he has had a rough past you never see him not standing tall for his friends or Cara。 I missed this story as soon as I read the last sentence and can't wait to see what Lola has next。🥰 。。。more

This book was such a delicate balance between Cara’s emotional need to heal and the inner desire in all of us (Wolf or human) to find love。 Seeing Cara and Knox give each other both the respect and devotion that each needed was lovely。 The way that Cara truly found her purpose and new pack was amazing, and I cannot wait to see the whole group again as Glass moves on to tell Shadow’s story next。

2。5 ⭐️There were some great parts in terms of healing and the steps Cara and the rejected pack were taking to heal, and I thought that making sure Cara had her time to recover by herself was well written。 I really enjoyed the romantic scenes between Cara and Knox。 Knox was a wonderful character and just what Cara needed in a mate。Unfortunately this book was very up and down and I felt pretty disconnected from it。 The pacing/plot seemed a bit out of whack; the events all made sense individually b 2。5 ⭐️There were some great parts in terms of healing and the steps Cara and the rejected pack were taking to heal, and I thought that making sure Cara had her time to recover by herself was well written。 I really enjoyed the romantic scenes between Cara and Knox。 Knox was a wonderful character and just what Cara needed in a mate。Unfortunately this book was very up and down and I felt pretty disconnected from it。 The pacing/plot seemed a bit out of whack; the events all made sense individually but they would’ve made more of an impact as a whole ordered differently。 At about 80% the story just kind of came to an end with another event for dramatic effect right at the end which I didn’t care for as to me, the story was over。Like a few previous books by Lola that I’ve read, the events that happened, the message that the story was trying form and what the MC thought/said didn’t add up。 Cara claims multiple times throughout the trilogy that treating someone who’s fragile like they’re breakable is the last thing they want, but she also says that is one thing she loves about Knox, that he treats her like she’s fragile。 The words fragile, broken and trauma felt overused and whilst the topics approached were dark and impactful, I don’t think they were well explored or understood in this trilogy and a lot of things rubbed me the wrong way。 *Slight spoiler*The info from the dramatic last event that happened paired with the fact that Cara and Knox decided to kill the man that they did without all the facts ruined this book for me as it’s a perfect example of the victim being blamed and dealing with the consequences that an abuser has caused。 It was insensitive。 The rest of the trilogy talked a lot about a victim not being to blame and part of the healing being that the abuse is not the victim’s fault, but again, that completely contradicted itself paired with the assumption that a man is the abuser。 As a reader, that annoys and disgusts me when it’s a topic so relevant and talked about and in this case, it’s made clear people still don’t understand it, will still double standard it。 。。。more

I received this ARC for an honest review。 This book is the last in a great series that comes out Sept。 3rd and it does not disappoint。 We get more of Bulldozer and the rest of the gang as well as meet some new rabid。 Knox and Ko was even better this time around and we heal along with Cara。 I loved the ending but I'm so glad the stories from this pack isn't done。 I received this ARC for an honest review。 This book is the last in a great series that comes out Sept。 3rd and it does not disappoint。 We get more of Bulldozer and the rest of the gang as well as meet some new rabid。 Knox and Ko was even better this time around and we heal along with Cara。 I loved the ending but I'm so glad the stories from this pack isn't done。 。。。more

***Possible Spoilers***This book is the perfect ending to the series, although I would love to find out what happens in a few years to the characters。 The Wolf Tamer, our fmc, still has a bunch of problems to deal with, her feral wolves have disappeared, she killed her mate, and her family wants her dead。 While she deals with this she comes to find out that the man that she loves might not love her back and it worries her。 More kidnappings put things on hold and she discovers more ferals than sh ***Possible Spoilers***This book is the perfect ending to the series, although I would love to find out what happens in a few years to the characters。 The Wolf Tamer, our fmc, still has a bunch of problems to deal with, her feral wolves have disappeared, she killed her mate, and her family wants her dead。 While she deals with this she comes to find out that the man that she loves might not love her back and it worries her。 More kidnappings put things on hold and she discovers more ferals than she ever thought possible that she needs to help。 Can her life ever get better?I would definitely recommend this book and series to all who live a strong fmc who learns to stand on her own after her life crumbles one to many times。I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review。 。。。more
