This is the first Baby Loves book that I have read and I am very impressed by it。 I read it to my 4 year old son and he loved it。 He asked many questions and we have gone onto research electricity even more。 I think this book is the perfect stepping stone for young children to see if the subject excites them without going into too much complicated detail that you can find in other books。 Thank you to NetGalley and Charlesbridge for my ARC。

Electrical Engineering explained simply to a baby。 Maybe a toddler， curious as they can be， wants to know how the light come。 And this book explained it， with much interesting illustration to show how electric works， somehow。 Using Christmas as am example where Baby can see a lot of lights， the author explained where do these energies come from。

Love this series。 Tying Christmas lights in with learning about electricity was a clever pairing。 Probably could have pared the title down to Electricity instead of Electrical Engineering and smoothed the transition back to Christmas from the science。 Otherwise， thought this was very well-written and had fun illustrations。4。5Thanks to NetGalley and the publisher for this eARC in exchange for my honest review。

I thought this book was cute and I really liked the artwork， however， the integratting of electrical engineering in this Christmas book felt very awkward。 It would have made more sense to cut the story off before it jumped back to Christmas as it was a bit confusing to go back to the opening page after so many pages about something completely different。 It just felt too forced。 I liked it up to that point though， and my kids enjoyed it before we all got confused by the last few pages。
