Summary

A cute kitten disrupts Petey's plans in the third Dog Man book from worldwide bestselling author and artist Dav Pilkey。
He was the best of dogs。。。 He was the worst of dogs。。。 It was the age of invention。。。 It was the season of surprise。。。 It was the eve of supa sadness。。。 It was the dawn of hope。。。 Dog Man hasn't always been a paws-itive addition to the police force。 While he can muzzle miscreants, he tends to leave a slick of slobber in his wake! This time, Petey the Cat's dragged in a tiny bit of trouble -- a double in the form of a kitten clone。 Dog Man will have to work twice as hard to bust these furballs and remain top dog!

Dav Pilkey's wildly popular Dog Man series appeals to readers of all ages and explores universally positive themes, including empathy, kindness, persistence, and the importance of being true to one's self。

This book is another amazing graphic novel from Dav Pilkey。 Anyone can read it and immediately love it from it's humor, action, and suspense。 I can't say much about this book or I would be spoiling, but it is worth reading。 This book is another amazing graphic novel from Dav Pilkey。 Anyone can read it and immediately love it from it's humor, action, and suspense。 I can't say much about this book or I would be spoiling, but it is worth reading。 。。。more

I loved this dog man so much!!! It was really cute and really funny! This book is about Petey。 He made a clone of himself and it went totally wrong,or did it? Read the series to find out!

My nine year old graphic novel enthusiast loved it!

I read this to my grandson and we both greatly enjoyed it。 He even let me do some of the triple-o-rama pages。 I'm not sure he got all the puns, but I enjoyed the book title puns。 This 3rd book in the series introduces Cat Kid。 Although Petey made him, he doesn't want to be evil, but prefers to be more like dog man。 I found it interesting that both Petey and Cat Kid can talk, but Dog Man can only bark。 George and Harold are now in 5th grade and introduces the importance of the comma, as in "Read I read this to my grandson and we both greatly enjoyed it。 He even let me do some of the triple-o-rama pages。 I'm not sure he got all the puns, but I enjoyed the book title puns。 This 3rd book in the series introduces Cat Kid。 Although Petey made him, he doesn't want to be evil, but prefers to be more like dog man。 I found it interesting that both Petey and Cat Kid can talk, but Dog Man can only bark。 George and Harold are now in 5th grade and introduces the importance of the comma, as in "Read to your dog, man!" 。。。more

Heartwarming。 Inspirational。 Thought-provoking。 Celestial。 All of these are words that came to mind while reading A Tale of Two Kitties。 Truly Dav Pilkey is a man of great skill。

I liked how Petey, the bad cat, gave his son to Dog Man。 I think everyone would like this book!

Liz

Definitely my favorite in the series so far!

Pete the evil cat clones himself, but the little kitten changes his fathers heart, but it is too late - his evil plan already has him in prison。

Mercer Smith

Another good book for kiddos。 Definitely some nuances that were tricky to explain (how to explain the problematic prison system and lack of support for ex-incarcerated folks to kiddos?), but was entertaining, sweet, and sparked from great conversations。

I like this book for my son because it allows him to work on his observation skills 。I’m order for him to give me a summary he has to pay attention to the story line that is a mix of pictures and written context。

The plot thickens in this series, as evil Petey the cat makes a clone and an "evil robot。" But his plans are foiled, as evil is shown to be a product of nurture, and not nature。 Moreover, the theme from the last book is developed further, as love is shown to be the best weapon against evil - reversing and healing its sources。Of course, Dog Man's unique personality traits figure into the plot, like his proclivity to roll in dead fish。 Where else do you find such silly humor mixed with such philos The plot thickens in this series, as evil Petey the cat makes a clone and an "evil robot。" But his plans are foiled, as evil is shown to be a product of nurture, and not nature。 Moreover, the theme from the last book is developed further, as love is shown to be the best weapon against evil - reversing and healing its sources。Of course, Dog Man's unique personality traits figure into the plot, like his proclivity to roll in dead fish。 Where else do you find such silly humor mixed with such philosophy? 。。。more

Just when you thought Dog man couldn’t get any better, he acquires the cutest side kick ever。 Now in the fifth grade, the boys have begun reading and writing more mature books, maybe。 Anyway, despite being an ‘evil’ clone, lil Petey just adds more fun to this adventure。 2020-1, may be the worst of times, but Dogman and his friends make everything a little more bearable。
