Best since the first bookThis could almost be a morality tale for current times: what can happen to a good person who follows a dark path of substance abuse and how the lives of loved ones can be affected。 I enjoyed the extra dimension this story had as compared to the others。 While this followed the usual pattern for a romance novel （boy meets girls， boy loses girl， boy gets girl back）， there was enough action to raise it to above an average representation of the genre of paranormal romance。

Alesteir may be the King of Darkness but bad he was not。 He was actually an honorable vampire。 He is also unlike the typical vampires that we know。 It’s a good read， not much excitement except for the rescue。

Another great addition to the series！ The author once again delivers a terrific paranormal romance with a cast of strong characters centering on Aleister，Vampire King and human，Yvonne。 She pulled in in right from the start with the suspense and kept me glued to the pages with all the twists and turns along the way。 I loved the characters and reading their story。 Loving this series！I voluntarily reviewed an ARC of this book。 All opinions in this review are my own and freely given。

This book was brilliant and the storyline draws you in right from the start and doesn’t let go。 Yvonne and her mother Beth are abused by her husband/father（ bear shifter Matt） who has been getting more violent from the drugs and the drinking and this time he nearly kills them both and when Yvonne reaches out with her telepathy to her best friend Colleen she comes with some friends and they are saved but her mum is in bad shape and Yvonne isn’t as bad but not good either so Colleen takes they to This book was brilliant and the storyline draws you in right from the start and doesn’t let go。 Yvonne and her mother Beth are abused by her husband/father（ bear shifter Matt） who has been getting more violent from the drugs and the drinking and this time he nearly kills them both and when Yvonne reaches out with her telepathy to her best friend Colleen she comes with some friends and they are saved but her mum is in bad shape and Yvonne isn’t as bad but not good either so Colleen takes they to the only place that she knows that they will be safe the Paradigm Night Club for all shifters even though they are human Brady would never turn anyone away that needs help and these women both need a doctor。 Aleister is at the club with his friends Lucian and Naomi when the women come in and straight away Aleister is drawn to Yvonne and offers to help these humans and give them a safe place to stay while they heal and because normally he doesn’t get involved he is the vampire king。 Matt enters the club and demands that they hand over his property so he can finish what he started and kill them both but everyone stands up to him and he reluctantly leaves but vows to get them。 Yvonne needs to know who they are staying with and reads Aleister’s mind and finds they he is the Vampire king and everyone else are vampires as well so she knows they are safe。 Now her biggest problem is that she is attracted to him and the way he looks at her too like he wants to devour her is a good way not as food。 Aleister is so drawn to Yvonne that he is having trouble focusing on anything else and would love to take her as his mate but in his world he cannot he must marry a vampire of pure blood but knowing this he still wants Yvonne for himself。 Yvonne is slowly falling in love with Aleister and makes a move on him and they have a wonderful night together but she knows it will never be anything more with him but she does it anyway。 Can Aleister keep them safe from Matt and what does he do about Yvonne the human he has fallen in love with when there can be no future together or so he thinks。 Get this amazing book to find out what happens next。 。。。more
