**4。5** stars I loved reading this book。 I went into this book blind and I’m glad I did because it made my reading experience better。 The story was easy to follow and the twist was great。 I have never read any novel from this author and I will definitely read more from her。

I’m always a sucker for MHC and since she passed away last year I think this is her last book。 I liked this series she did with Alafair Burke because it was similar to Clark’s earlier novels and kept me guessing most of the time。 I wish Goodreads did half stars… 3。5 for me。 Worth the read if you read the other books in the series
