Fun quick read！ Carly is a single mom with a teenage son she Mason a meets water search and rescue officer。 She can’t believe that he is interested in her and does a lot of second guessing however he is persistent！

I know this is about romance and rescue but Jenna Brandt really nails teen attitude and the patience a mom/parent needs in getting them through these angst filled years。 Mason is not only an expert water rescue instructor but he is also the perfect one to help Carly。 Being a native Texan the story being set in one of my favorite vacation spots just added to my enjoyment。 I have loved this series and this book is just another great addition。

Loved this sweet romance with single mom Carly and her rebellious son Jonas who meet ex Navy Seal now K9 Water Rescuer Mason and his K9 Dover。 There is suspense and romance and reading how their relationship developed was inspiring and sweet。
